He advised regarding options for service (lube & tune of existing system) vs motor replacement. Ben also advised that if I elected service vs replacement at this time and subsequently (within one year) replaced the motor, the cost for the lube & tune service would be credited toward the purchase price of a new motor. "The technician who did the work was very nice, explained what is needed, etc. The initial quote was quite high and then he called Door-Mart to ask if there is discount to apply and got 10% off the initial price. I am under the impression that going through HomeAdvisor means I am getting the best value and I do not have to bargain. This was disappointing. Eventually I paid $736 to replace two springs for a standard 2 car home garage, I think the price is still high. I went with Door-Mart because my car was stuck inside the garage and need to get the work done."
