"The results were beautiful! The worker, Jose, was meticulous with all the prep work and completely protected the surrounding areas. He worked diligently and paid attention to all the details. The enclosed bathtub shower looks like new, gleaming white. I am very happy with the results."

"Alex came on time, quickly set to work, called me in to discuss what he found when he peeled off the old epoxy--the original refinisher had not done a thorough job, which had needed the original tile regrouted prior to applying the epoxy, which caused the cracking. He had to add some additional cost to the original expense to fix the grout, which he apologized for. He still finished on time, and the shower looks amazing. He supplied with with an instruction sheet on care of the new finish, which was not provided with the original job. He did a great job, was very courteous, did a through cleanup after finishing. I was very glad to have had him recommended to me."

"We did a complete exterior renovation of our house in Burbank, and after meeting with 3 different contractors, we decided to go with Pearl Remodeling... And man, did we make the right choice! Izhak was our project manager, and we could tell right away that he has a serious passion for his work. When he came over the first time, we discussed our plans... he not only gave us some great ideas, but also talked us out of certain things that he thought would be a waste of money. How many contractors out there actually talk their potential clients OUT of spending more money? We obviously really appreciated that. The teams that they sent out to do the work were top notch, led by foreman Amnon. Izhak was there every step of the way, coming by a couple times a week to check up on things. Every time we had a question or an issue, he was on top of it immediately. The project is now finished, and we could not be happier with how it turned out. If you're thinking of hiring Pearl Remodeling, stop thinking about it and just do it already. And ask for Izhak.... you'll be glad that you did."

"The project manager, Tom Cohen, was so helpful from our first meeting. He was knowledgeable about the windows and explained the differences so I could make the best choice for the money I had to spend. The windows were replaced and I'm happy with my beautiful new sliding door. The work was done quickly and my home was left in great condition. I had no clean up to do after the workers finished. Tom helped me process all the paperwork and arranged for financing , also very helpful. I would use this company again and I would ask to work with Tom Cohen. I trust him to help with future projects."

"Well, obviously I had to go over my original budget. My total spend on the house was $900,000. Honestly, in my opinion and the opinion of many of my friends who lived through the renovation with me, I believe I got $2 million dollars worth of remodeling for that $900,000. That’s how good Sami is. I love my new home and Sami did not cheap-out on anything. Knowing the situation I was in he worked with me every step of the way. Even doing some things at cost because as he used to say “I want you to feel you got the home you wanted.” If you hire ATM, and I recommend you do or at least give them a chance to bid on your project, I offer the following thoughts about remodeling in general, ATM and Sami: 1. Remodeling a home is as stressful and painful as every one says it is. At least for me I felt that my contractor was “on my side” the whole time. I was a friend to Sami, not his enemy. (I say this because Sami did not do the landscaping and the contractor I hired to do that part treated me like an enemy the minute he got the job. Stole my deposit money and never did the work). With ATM I was more likely to owe them money than the other way around. 2. Things do go wrong on renovations, especially of old homes and especially ones that are in poor shape like mine was. Whenever something went wrong Sami would take my calls and come out right away to see the problem and have it fixed right then and there or the next day. The man stands by his work and unlike other contractors I’ve dealt with who don’t take your phone calls, or play fast and loose with the truth, Sami was a man of his word and always showed up to make things right. This is invaluable in a contractor. 3. Be prepared for the project to take longer than you think. Don’t ask me why, but things are found to not be stable, and have to be fixed before the “decoration” work can be done. Or permits take longer to acquire than you hoped. I often got impatient during mr remodel but I realize now that Sami wanted everything to be perfect and to have permits for everything to avoid trouble for me later when I go to sell the house. 4. Sami is a gentleman through and through. When things looked bleak and my budget had gone up and things weren’t going as fast as I’d like I could always count on Sami to say “I want you to have the house of your dreams. Sometimes that takes time.” Well, Sami delivered on his promise. He’s the real deal. I adore my new home and it looks amazing."

FAQs for bathtub liner or shower surround installation and replacement projects in Woodland Hills, CA

A bathtub liner is a custom, one-piece shell that slips over your existing tub to hide cracks, stains, and chips. Most are molded from tough acrylic or PVC and can include a matching wall surround for a complete facelift. When a pro bonds the liner in place, you get a watertight seal, a fresh look, and an added layer of safety—all without tearing out the old tub.

After a tech measures your tub and orders a made-to-fit shell, installation takes a day. The installer cleans the surface, applies industrial-grade adhesive, and positions the liner in place. They trim the edges, tighten the drain, and run a smooth bead of silicone caulk to lock out moisture. A quick plumbing check wraps things up, leaving you with a ready-to-use tub by the next morning.

You can pick preset sizes or order a liner molded to your tub’s exact shape, then choose from dozens of colors, patterns, and finishes to match—or refresh—your bathroom. A pro trims and fits the shell on-site, so every contour lines up and accessories like grab bars or shelving land exactly where you want them.

If the liner’s material accepts a fresh coating, a professional can sand it, apply epoxy, and restore the shine in six hours for $480. Swapping in a brand-new liner runs $800 to $1,000 and takes a day or less. Refinishing is the wallet-friendly route when the shell is structurally sound, but it won’t last as long as starting over with new acrylic.

Most liners last three to five years. High-quality acrylic, a snug professional fit, and routine cleaning help you reach the upper end of that range. If moisture seeps behind the shell, mold and odors can shorten its life, so keep an eye out for loose caulk or soft spots and call a professional if you spot trouble early.
