"Shaw's were absolutely awesome. Had an emergency need when a pipe broke, and they were the only ones willing to come and fix it that night so we weren't without water. Also reasonably priced, great service, and super friendly. Would highly recommend!"

"After 3 days of trying to get my landlord to get someone out to unclog my drain. I explained my situation to Rock solid and how it?s been 3 days of nasty black water sitting in my tub and how I was unable to bath my daughter and self. Rock solid showed up at almost 10pm just to help me with the situation when everyone else was saying they?ll send someone out tomorrow. 10/10 recommend. friendly, Professional, and reliable. "

"Tom always arrived when he said he would, and he was finished working when he said he would be. He suggested very nice 16and quot; tile with a beautiful accent strip for the shower surround. The shower has a nice tile bench with rounded corners that are not sharp to sit on. <br /> In addition, we asked Tom if he knew anyone who could fix a bedroom door that would not close, and he said he could fix it himself. He took the door of its hinges, shaved off the top, and remounted it. He did not charge us anything for that, even when we offered to pay."

"Had plumbing issues for over a month and our landlord was slow to get started on the fix. Called these people, told our situation, called the landlord, had them set up an appointment - and in minutes a date was set (was doable within the week - unlike most jobs we've come across). They came first thing in the morning on the given date (VERY punctual), dug up the spot of the problems within just a few minutes... and they couldn't fix it, since the problem was caused by an AT&T fiberwire literally cutting THROUGH our sewer pipe! They left to get some supplies and CAME RIGHT BACK (too many maintenance folks say they'll get supplies at the store and don't come back UNTIL NEXT WEEK) to place up caution tape and clean up their mess. It's too bad that they couldn't fix our pipe (since it's AT&T's wire they'd have to go through now), but their service was exceptional. Definitely recommend! [PS: The prince listed on Project Cost would've been the price we had to pay if they were able to fix]"

"Mr. Lusk was well known and liked around here for his quality of work and reasonable prices. The city had everyone with sprinkler systems install these traps on the pipes that was near the meter by the street, so the water in the pipes wouldn t run back into the water system. I had Lusk's do mine. He didn t try to charge a lot because he knew I was required to have the work done. He did a wonderful job for me. Considering the digging and work involved in this, I couldn t have asked for a better price."

"Don Clark from Russell and LeMay came to our house to determine if there was a gas leak from our dryer or from our gas line. He was quick and effecient and laid out our options. He turned off our gas to the dryer and advised us to wait to see if the problem reoccurred. It hasn't, indicating that the problem is with our dryer and not the gas line. Mr. Clark has been notified. Because this issue required waiting we have not yet been billed. I will update this report once I receive an invoice."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Woodson, AR

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
