"The young man that came to see my missing shingles on my roof, was professional, informed, and polite. The only issue was that the company does NOT conduct repair as I needed. The company only replaces the entire roof. I am glad he came and advised about replacing the roof if we decide to do that and decide that we can afford it. Right now I need to repair the missing shingles. and he/ his company can not help me."

"Overall the installation went well except the "bowing" in the portion of the roof over the garage. We contacted Power on several occasions, but we haven't received a proper response yet. Below is the email we sent to Power. Power did acknowledge receiving the email, but nothing has happen so far. Email: You replaced our roof April 23, 2022 – project number 35-74502. We’re pleased with the replacement except for the portion over the garage…it’s bowing. Below, is our account of the events detailing how we have tried to resolve this issue. March 26, we met with sales team, Chris Pierson and Christy. We were assured that the bowing over the garage would be addressed and corrected since we were getting a brand-new roof, down to the decking/framing. The replacement should resolve this issue unless it’s structural. Brandon, project manager came out March 30 to check the readiness of the installation; to verify the frame could support the new roof. During the appointment, he mentioned that he would be on site the day of install. The roof was replaced on April 23rd. No on-site manager ever came on site, the lead guy of the work crew was not an effective communicator. We engage beyond the one time he asked for an extension cord. I called POWER and left a message with Chris Pierson that same day after the crew left to express my dissatisfaction with the roof over the garage. POWER came out to inspect/QA the project at completion (the roof) on April 25th, I believe his name was Zach. We pointed out the concaved roof on the garage. He stated that portion may be a structural issue and Power could not address that. I asked him how much would it cost to replace it? He thought about it for a minute or so, then stated it could be replaced, but it would be “redo” and he quoted us a price of approx. $8900. He proceeded to say that he could knock it down to about $7800 if we added an additional project to replace the house trim. This is when he mentioned that they have company meetings on Tuesdays in the morning and he was sure this project would be discussed. He acknowledged that POWER’s communication could have been better (better details in the project notes). We waited few days thinking that someone from POWER would reach out and when that didn’t happen, we called Chris Pierson (the POWER sales guy) on April 28th. During this call, Chris scheduled another QA/follow up appointment for May 9th at 10:00am; he said Dylan, a service manager would come out. On May 9th no one showed up. About 10:20am, we called POWER only to find out that we did not have an appointment for that day. We were not the appointment list. We then rescheduled for 10am the next day, not even 10 minutes later POWER called back to inform us that unfortunately they were not going to be able to make it because of some staff meeting. I recall asking “is the meeting all day”. That’s when we were told that the next available date was June 16th; feeling like we had no choice we accepted the June 16th date at 6pm to allow both of us to be present for the meeting. Upset and feeling like we were about to get the runaround, we placed a call to GreenSky (financing team) to inform them of the matter since loan was activated and payments would begin soon. After sharing the situation with the GreenSky rep, she took notes, and we submitted a complaint because again we felt like we were about to get the run around. On June 12th, we had a call with the assigned GreenSky caseworker. He advised that we should continue to try and resolve the matter with POWER. On June 16th around 1:50pm, I received an apologetic call from Terry, apologizing for being late, that his prior appointment ran over, he was out in the sticks and phone reception was not all that great. I mentioned that our appointment wasn’t until 6pm as so my husband could be home. I was told that I must be mistaken because they don’t make appointments after 6pm, his latest appointment would be around 4:00pm. He said that my husband really didn’t need to present, it would be a quick look and since he was in the area. He asked for a summary of the situation; I gave him the run down. He asked if I could send him a few pictures, which I texted him a few of the garage roof. He said he got the jest of it. He apologized and asked what could they do… we said that we would be open to a knocking something off the price or repairing the area. He said let me call my office. He called us back to say that someone from senior management would be calling us to try and resolve this that evening of June 16th, but still haven’t heard from him or POWER."

"Recently purchased a home and found out after some rain that there were a couple leaks in the roof. Got couple quotes from several roofing companies on Home Advisor and decided to go with Canales Service, LLC. Erik was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable, came out did an estimate on Monday and was able to do repairs 2 days later and completed it in the same day they started. The repairs did go over the original estimate but was because there were additional issues found after they started tearing off the bad areas and the whole area ended up needing to be replaced. He made sure to contact me and advise how much it would cost for the extra repairs, also provided couple pictures to show which areas were bad and had been repaired. Would definitely recommend Erick and his crew, and will call him if future work is needed."

"Not all heroes wear capes! Economy Restoration LLC., saved my home! Long story short is I had a new roof, siding and gutters done in November 2018 by contractors that did unworkmanlike installations and kept trying to band aide the job. I had several contractors look over the installs and was told by all of them that in their professional opinions, everything would need to be redone from scratch. This was absolutely one of the most stressful and devastating things Iâ ve ever encountered in my life. It was back to the drawing board on hiring another contractor and hopefully not get burned again. I had several estimates and was fortunate enough to learn about Economy Restoration through my boyfriend who had been selling merchandise for the past couple of years to the COO, Rob Knotts. I did my research and saw that they are a fairly new company with great reviews. I spoke with Rob and explained the situation and he understood my positioning entirely and went above and beyond to assure me I was in good hands this time. Rob came to my home to assess the prior installs and came to all the same conclusions as the other contractors and more. He was very thorough and taught me more about the prior job that made me 100% ready to get these installations redone properly. I was still very nervous over the situation because nobody should have to go through this all over again in a year and coming 100% out of my pocket this time. My boyfriend and I picked out the new colors of shingles and siding and were ready to pull the trigger for the 2nd time and hopefully the last time for this project. The installations were setup for November 2019, exactly a year after the prior job. The roof was the first to be installed and the amount of issues from the prior contract blew me away once I got a better look over it all. The crew did an excellent job in repairing all these matters and they knocked it out in ONE DAY! That wasnâ t the case with the last company, so I was thrilled to see my brand-new roof with proper drip edge, overhang and flashing. Up next was the siding installation and there was quite a bit of wood and facia replaced during this process. Economy made sure to stick 100% to their contract and go above and beyond on my home. Economy made my home look brand new! Installed the roof, siding and repaired many matters from the prior contractors. I canâ t thank Rob enough for his attention to detail and knowing how tender a situation this has been for my household. The roofing and siding crew moved quickly, but made sure to do the jobs right, cleaned up behind themselves and not damage anything in the process. I recommend Economy Restoration to anyone for their exceptional work and they even came out to Baltimore for a trek to make this experience right for us. Everyone has been professional, easy to work with, offering competitive pricing and thorough during this process. Folks have been turning their heads in this neighborhood because of the curb appeal this house has now as it doesnâ t look like any other on the street. Trust Economy Restoration LLC. in your roofing and siding needs, you wonâ t regret it!"

"

They were awesome.

I shopped windows like crazy. They have their own special window that is very nice and energy efficient.

They scheduled the roof first. Two days later they did my siding and windows.

Excellent cleanup.

They were not the lowest price, but were close. About $1000 higher than the lowest bid.

I highly recommend them to anyone need exterior work done.

FAQs for asphalt shingle roofing repair projects in Worton, MD

Asphalt shingles last 15 to 30 years, although premium products can reach the 50-year mark. The actual lifespan hinges on climate, material quality, proper installation, ventilation, and consistent maintenance. Scheduling annual inspections, replacing damaged shingles promptly, and keeping gutters clear all extend service life and help your roof protect the rest of the house.

Repairing your asphalt shingles preserves the integrity of your roof by addressing minor, localized damage. In cases where damage is confined, applying roofing sealant beneath and over the affected area restores performance and prevents further issues. Maintaining these repairs upholds durability and forestalls deterioration. When damage is extensive or persistent, full roof replacement becomes necessary. A professional inspection confirms the ideal course of action.

Replacing individual shingles is a valid solution when only isolated sections of the roof are damaged. Asphalt shingles, as well as wooden shakes, slate, or clay roofing tiles, are engineered for individual replacement, which can be achieved by applying roofing sealant beneath and over the damaged section to restore functionality. When damage extends over a larger area or many shingles are compromised, complete roof replacement becomes necessary. A professional roofer will assess the situation and confirm the optimal repair method.
