"Samuel is extremely competent, timely, responsive, and transparent. Unfortunately, we had a roof installed a few years ago by a company who cut corners, and STMZ came to repair two separate leaks in the “new” roof. He documented every step of the process with photos, and explained what he was doing. (Most contractors, in my experience, do not take the time to explain the process to you!) I highly recommend his services, and if we ever need to replace the roof, STMZ will be the company we will call."

"JB sent one response that he would contact me to make an appointment. I sent a message after not hearing anything and never received response to my follow-up message. Went with someone else who maintained communication. I’ve walked through a house built by JB and was really impressed. I was excited to work with him but didn’t get the chance. I would like to give him a second chance if I ever need a handyman service."

"Mr. Mooney came out and gave the estimate and they he came back with his helper, Jerry, and did the work.  There was no marketing agent.  The work was done for the price estimated, so we knew from the start how much it would cost. <br /> Initially, Steve and his assistant, Jerry, spent half a day cleaning our home exterior.  This included treatment with a solution to remove mildew, washing, scrubbing and power washing.  They did a thorough job cleaning 15 years of dirt and mildew off our home and it looked much better.  <br /> After our home had a few days to dry out, Steve replaced select pieces of trim and soffit material as needed.  He found damaged areas that we didn't even know about!  All joints and seams were caulked.  He and Jerry then painted on two coats of paint.  Steve also built new wood shutters for our front windows (a big improvement on our louvered plastic shutters) and installed recessed can lights on our front porch (we provided the lights).  We were very pleased with the quality of their work.  <br /> Top notch quality and very reasonably priced.  We strongly recommend them and we would use them again. <br />"

"Mr. Douglas did an excellent job (as always). I have a new metal roof and it was done in a very professional and timely manner. Mr. Douglas is very particular that any job he is doing or overseeing is done to his standards (and he is a perfectionist). You will get quick response, good work and will be well informed at every step of the job. I have relied on Mr. Douglas for windows, siding and roof and have been very pleased on every project."

"Everything was perfect. Someone was sent to give an estimate. The next week the crew arrived when they were supposed to. The guys cleaned the exterior one day, came back to paint the next. One of the workers came to me and wanted to show me a problem. One of the columns on our front porch was totally rotted through at the bottom!! We hadn't noticed because it had been partially covered by a plant. We had someone come out and replace the column about two weeks later. Certapro sent two guys out to paint the column to match the rest of the house!! Now that is customer service! I will also say that we used CertaPro two years earlier to paint the entire interior of another home we owned. They fixed "dings" and nicks in all of the walls and painted them. They looked flawless! I definitely recommend them! <br />"

"Our home is 41 years old and we have wanted to cover our patio for years. We never could figure out how to do it because of the way the original roof line is configured. We contacted a contractor on Angie's list but he couldn't get to us for several months. We asked if he would recommend someone and he gave us Tony Mills' name and number. We consulted with Tony and he came out and took a look at our situation and we discussed different options. He then brought his framer by and together they designed a roof to cover the patio that upon completion looks like it is original to the house. There were several issues which had to be dealt with; not the least of which was a chimney which diverted water to the wrong place for our new cover. But that was taken care of by some more design work. They really did a great job. Next came the actual building of the cover. The workmen were nothing short of artists with a saw and nail gun and paintbrush and roller. No kidding! We love our new patio cover and could not be happier with Mills Family Properties. The next time we have a job that needs doing, we will definitely call Tony."

"The owner, Michael, was the lead manager throughout the entire process. He was great to work with. Very upfront about the entire process. He warned us that our home would be a complete disaster during the construction. He was right!!! They did an excellent job at keeping the dust and dirt to a minimum. Once the job was finished they did a great job at cleaning up and putting everything back to the way it was. This was a 4 week job and they hustled to finish as quickly as possible. They worked 6 days a week. The service and workmanship were Excellent! Highly Recommended! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Yazoo City, MS

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
