I will write a longer version below, but for those who do not like to read long reviews, here are the key points: They are incredibly professional and communicative, contacting you with weekly updates and quick to respond to any inquiry. The pricing is competitive and transparent, and the end product is worth double what you pay. The design and craftsmanship are outstanding some of the best I have ever seen. - The vibe of the owners and their team is incredibly positive. They all seem genuinely happy to work with you on your project and to bring a little outdoor joy into your life. Our backyard was a bombed-out mess, beaten up by two dogs, and with three kids and busy lives, we had not put in the time to keep it up. My wife is a longtime gardener, and going back there bummed her out more than it inspired her. After a difficult year that included a cancer diagnosis, we finally decided to invest in making a garden space that would inspire us to get outside more. After talking to five or six local contractors, we were left feeling discouraged and frustrated. Each raised a different set of reasons why the project would be difficult. It was either too much of a hole to dig, too much red tape to cut through, or too difficult a location to navigate the crane we would need to install the Soake plunge pool (check them out; they are amazing) we were planning or too damn expensive. Our frustration reached an all-time high, and we were close to ditching the project together. And then we met Micah. Within a month, we had signed a contract, and he had ordered the pool to all our specifications. Where others saw impassable barriers (getting a crane into our yard), Micah saw multiple ways to get it done. Where others offered outrageously expensive proposals to deliver what we had hoped for, Micah gave us options we could afford and pick from. Every step with Easton Outdoors was yes, we can make that work. And they did. By the time the project was done, it was so much better than what we had imagined that it still awes us almost two months later. A space that was unusable is now one where we spend every evening even in the dead of winter, we are usually in our pool 4-5 nights a week (it heats up to 104 degrees). The bombed-out yard feels like a high-end boutique hotel. "This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"Chuck Hipp and his employee, Antonio, did a phenomenal job! The brick fireplace was sinking and the bricks were separating from the wall. After investigation Chuck determined that there were no footers under the fireplace. He installed new footers, supported the brick wall and reattached all the bricks and suggested the fireplace be covered with stucco and tiles to match the Spanish style of the house. The fireplace turned out beautifully and became the true focal point of the living room. The house was listed for sale and I know the beautiful stucco fireplace helped to sell the home quickly. We moved to our new 1948 house and discovered that the chimney needed to be rebuilt. I received a bid from A Step in Time chimney sweeps which was astronomical. I then consulted a structural engineer who confirmed the bid was outrageously high. He recommended a good brickmason be consulted. I found Chuck Hipp and Hipp Masonry Works on Angies List. Chuck investigated the problem and determined that the chimney needed to be torn down and rebuilt at the roof line and he was able utilize new bricks with old bricks to match the new chimney addition to the existing home and bottom half of the chimney. He asked me to drive around and take photos of chimneys I liked and he would duplicate it. I found a chimney on a beautiful older home and Chuck was able to duplicate it to suit my brick, Tudor home. It is gorgeous and best of all the fireplace can now be used for a beautiful wood fire. He then removed and replaced all the broken, damaged bricks throughout the exterior of the house using mainly old bricks salvaged room the chimney rebuild. Chuck and Antonio did incredible work and at half the price of the previous bid. Before they left they brought in topsoil to fill in any holes in our lawn due to the work and they used soil to regrade the back of the house which had been the cause of damage to lower bricks. They also repointed the front steps and remortered the boxes for the exterior porch lights which were hanging loose from the brick exterior. I will only call the HippMasonry Works for any brick work."

"I am unhappy with the end result. The kitchen tile is okay however, after paying an extra $100 to have a wood trim install in my foyer entrance, I have been living with a defective product since late March. The trim is being held by a bucket full of book to prevent us to trip and hurt ourself. Contacted the company more than once , was promise the problem would be fix however, I am still waiting."
