"Time consuming but worth it. They understood Ann Arbor's local ordinances better than any other bidder, and were the most competitive bidder (if not by much, but they still were the lowest bidder). They made multiple trips to ensure the estimate was accurate and took pains to find a fencing solution that would comply with Ann Arbor's convoluted rules, yet be both functional and aesthetic. Multiple install trips as well, to deal with tree removal issues and weather problems. Final installed fence is beautiful. We likely will follow up because the locks installed on the two gates installed are proving difficult to manage, but I fully expect this issue to be resolved satisfactorily. (We have not yet contacted them about this, so it's not their fault that this issue remains unresolved - it's been a complicated year for us and, having worked with them, we trust in their ability to resolve this concern later. If we are wrong about this, we'll follow up on our review.) We found Upright Fence through Angie's List, and it was a good recommendation. We would do it all again exactly as it happened if given the option. We are so relieved to have the old, collapsing wooden fence removed and a new, vinyl fence - properly installed along the lot boundaries. Our thanks to the Upright team...we can understand why they've been in business so long. Experience does indeed count for something."

"Many years ago my late husband worked for a fence company, so I know all the problems that customers can face, and the excuses they can be given. I was in town for a limited amount of time (3 weeks), and yet they managed to complete the entire job in plenty of time. All the workers- on the ground, salesman, and woman in the office were so very helpful and professional. When I had to call back to get the gate adjusted, they were back out here the next day. Neighbors have already said how nice it looks. If you want competency and quality, as well as friendliness, make this your fence company. <br /> It is also good to deal with a company that is in Detroit. <br />"

"Deck install went vey well. Jim and his crew were very picky about getting all the details right including spending a couple hours making sure deck was perfectly level. Install of the fence took place at a later date. There was a delay caused by the problem of finding a fence vendor that could supply the type and color of fence we wanted, and a delay getting it shipped here. There was also a delay dues to CedarWotks being very busy (I think they overbook a little and weather can always add to the problem). The same crew showed up to install the fence (they even showed up on a Sunday ). All in all,even though it took a while to get the project completed, it was worth the wait. I have received several complements on the deck since then. A job well done."

Their tasks, as quoted: demo existing drywall where needed, complete unfinished drywall where needed, and install new drywall where needed. All tasks were completed with great detail. They were able to bridge the gap between our old plaster walls and newly dry-walled areas creating the seamless look we desired."

"Novi fence came out and found the yard markers right away (where other fence companies couldn't locate) They supplied me with a quote and gave me an estimated time to start the fence. They contacted me about 1-2 weeks early to see if we were ready for our fence to be started. I eagerly said yes. They set posts on a Thursday and came back on Monday to finish the install. The even went above and beyond by repairing a chain link area that one of my dogs manages to squeeze through. <br /> Everyone was very nice, from the initial quote to the men that came out to install the fence.
