His foreman Gabi was excellent and very polite and forthcoming with information.  The overall quality was excellent of the job.  The Kitchen and Wood Floors were the best.  The floors came out brilliant and the kitchen was beautiful.   They volunteered a bunch of extras when we needed it.  On a couple of occasions, we asked for something and needed to pay the difference.

During this job, there were several hiccups, but Precise corrected any issue that came up immediately.  Even several months after the completion of the project, on two separate occasions, they came back to correct a couple minor problems that came up at no extra charge.  They were at the house fixing the problem within a day or two of calling them on the problem.

One of the biggest things I really appreciated from Precise is that they allowed me to work without disturbing me.  I have a very busy schedule and they were able to accommodate my schedule and meet with me during my times off.  Sometimes, this would be in the morning before work and sometimes in the evening.  Another thing was they were able to complete the project ahead of schedule.  They had originally estimated around 8 weeks, but they completed the project in about 6 weeks.

A few of suggestions to the potential client:

1. Make sure you know (have a general idea) of you want to do in your project before you meet with Moshe.  Or, if not before, within few days after you meet with him. Moshe will meet with you several times before they present their offer.  Write down a list of all the items you need or think you need and make sure it is on Precise?s bullet list of items before you start the project.  You may consider having someone else look at the list that has had previous construction work done.    Moshe will try to come up with a list of everything he thinks you need for your project, but it is up to you to add things that may have been left off or remove things you don?t want.  If not, this could result in a change order later on.  If you sign, you will have a few days to go over the list and add/remove items on their list.

1. They move real fast, so be prepared to make a lot of the payments real fast.  In the first two weeks of the project, we had to make approximately 60% of the payments.

Also, make sure you make all your selections (additional purchases/orders) shortly after you sign.  Order everything you need from your end within the first few days of the project.  Some large appliance may need to be special ordered and could take 2-3 weeks.  This also includes doors, and other things too.  You will need to move fast too to keep up with Precise.

"Our house was broken into the night before we moved in, and there were several minor issues which needed to be fixed. I researched here on Angie's List and Yari had good reviews and was close. I prefer to use local businesses if at all possible. Yariv was polite and nice to work with. He showed up on time and was very matter-of-fact about the job. This was an insurance claim, so I wasn't worried about pricing too much, but it was very reasonable in my opinion. The only problem I had was when the rains came later on and the shed door expanded with humidity. It started to scrape on the bottom. "I bought an Angie's list deal for dry wall repair but really they just spread some spackle on it and left it rough. I had to scrape off the blobs of spackle left on the ceiling. My boyfriend could have done the same job. I wanted them to actually replace the dry wall where it was cracking. Mainly they wanted to sell me more jobs and pushed me to sign on with them to get new insulation in the attic. I had them give me an estimate on rain gutters while they were here. Their estimate/prices are very high. I think they have to pay for all those people manning the phones. It sounds like a boiler room when they call."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
