"Stenson Landscaping did an outstanding job on a complicated project in my front yard. I was looking to have the following done: 1) repair all existing stone landscaping walls (which were in bad shape); 2) demo the old front walkway and pour a new one with a different pattern of stairs; 3) build stone retaining walls down the sides of the front walkway and across much of the front of the yard, and have those walls match the existing stonework; 4) fill behind the walls with gravel and filter fabric for drainage and fill dirt for planting; 5) update all irrigation to the new layout and ground level, including installing drip irrigation lines for future planter bowls. Stenson did an outstanding job at the project. They worked to detailed specifications and designs that I provided them, and were open to feedback and willing to make changes on the fly as needed. The stonemasonry in particular is outstanding - the walls are very solid, built with rebar and concrete footers, and really look incredible. The change in the look of my front yard is night and day. I'm thrilled with the outcome of the project and would absolutely hire them again."

"About seven years ago, This company installed a sunroom. It was a quality job--no complaints here. Yesterday, January 23, 2026, I called in to inquire about having a broken sunroom window repaired. The representative informed me that they no longer service sunrooms! Not a response I was expecting. If you are going to have yard amenities installed, I would research companies that have a long-standing record that is reputable, and not a company that stops service on a product that they sell and/or installed. "I trusted Mark to do a professional job. I got mixed pallets of sod with very shoddy installation. I mentioned to Mark several times before the job that a level lawn was my goal. Not even close, especially at the end. It was getting dark and they just threw down the remaining pieces and got out of dodge. I have not heard a word from Mark since the installation. I would not recommend using his company."

In June of 2013, the Gros family unexpectedly suffered a great loss. Mark suddenly passed away from a unexplained heart condition, leaving the family devastated. Shawn continued his father's legacy by the re-launch of MAG Builders and the expansion of the company to proudly serve Texas for not only custom homebuilding, but also to help aid those affected by the unpredictable severe storm damages that too often occur in the Lone Star State. "Installation of the fence went well. After it was installed the hardware that they used to open the gate from the inside was too small to serve the purpose and my hand got pinched every time I used it. So they adjusted the gate. This adjustment rendered the lock useless as there is too much space to reach the adjacent post that locks my gate. And worse yet, they could see that this was a problem. Their solution was to unscrew the scores some and bend the part that surrounds the deadbolt. This did not solve the problem. The lock serves no purpose as it does not meet the other side of the gatepost and it looks like ****. I’ve contacted then several times being told that they stand behind their work and they would check it and get back to me. This was over a year ago, I contacted them again 2-3 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from them. I want them to fix it or give me my $125 back so I can get a real locksmith to repair their bungled job."

We were “fooled” by good salesmanship and reviews!!! Please contact us before hiring Sunstone Pools or visit our backyard to see the “extremely poor quality of work.” Please see Google reviews and BBB to see more definitive information and our formal complaint. Sunstone Pools has refused to repair its mistakes snd damages!!!! Therefore, we filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Texas and have hired an attorney to pursue litigation. See photos below:"
