"Service Tech Brandon H cae for my yearly inspection of the wall braces and sump pump. Brandon was ever the orofessional as we reviewed my covered services and explained some other options for me to consider for the future. The braces were fine, the in checking the sump pump, we found it needed to be replaced. Brandon thoroughly explained the situation and replaced my sump pump in timely fashion. It was a pleasure meeting and engaging with him. "

"We had a very complex front door to install and On the Level did a superior job -- the quality of the work was superb, the price was more than fair, and all of the work was completed in a timely manner. Peter did a great job communicating through out the process --we would hire them again."

"Workman took three days to shore up the foundation of this very old garage. He was polite, and did a nice job. Estimates from several providers were all over the map, since some recommended extensive work involving the use of helical piers, and installation of a new concrete block foundation. I went with more conservative repair.. It looks fine, and I hope I made the right decision."

"Just as our previous experience with Oscar and his team, everything went smoothly. They were careful to do the job properly while simultaneously being respectful and thoughtful. In the past we have had workmen from other companies who I was grateful to see leave. Quite the opposite with Oscar and his team!"

"My garage floor was coated in 2013 with a 10-year warranty, and areas have not adhered properly many times. The company sends workers to "fix" the affected areas, but the fixes do not hold up. The company re-coated the floor once, but I believe that the bare floor was not ground properly when the coating was first applied. Now my floor is unsightly with areas bare or that have been re-worked over and over and not looking like the original finish. A few weeks ago, workers came to re-work the areas, but I told them not to do so because I wanted a more permanent solution to the problems. I have had several email communications with a manager. All they seem to want to do is apply more coating to the affected areas. This pretty much makes the warranty useless."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in California, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
