"Service tech, arrived late Service tech, left parts off the unit when putting it back together. Assumed service would include cleaning filters. Tech found leak in evaporator coil. To replace part under warranty, was quoted $1400. For a covered part. When I asked for a break down of quote, I was not given one. I have asked for over 3 days with no response. Spoke with owner Zeek, who claimed he would get back to me. He has not. The system tune up, is a joke, if you do not have problem with your system, it is of no value. I believe it is just away for the company to find something wrong and rape you on the cost to fix. When called out on how they arrive at a price for repair, company refused to break it down, for parts and materials. Since the part was covered under warranty the bulk of the price is labor. I found a competitor to do the work for just under $700. The same work Acosta was charging me $1400 for. Buyer beware of Acosta."

He explained the immediate repair as well as issues to anticipate with my fairly old (15 year old system), including the caution that my systems R22 refrigerant is no longer being produced and is becoming cost prohibitive to replace (I.e. for recharging). T.Byrdâ s gave an excellent price for the parts replacement and repair. Jonathan also explained the efficiencies of current models and a ballpark figure and timeframe that I could use in planning for a full unit replacement. He was about to finish for the evening but said he could pass by around 2130 to have a look at my unit. He was on time, very professional and assessed my issue and had all the materials to fix it right on the spot and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone needing a/c work done as he is the boss of his company and as a result has very little, if any overhead so he is able to do the necessary repairs for a very good price."
