"My initial investigation seemed to indicate a water leak outside the house, which would be a major expense. However, Jay quickly determined that the leak was caused by a faulty valve in the toilet tank. He quickly replaced the valve at low cost. I was very impressed by Jay's level of skill and experience. I would recommend him to anyone."

"Jacob and Heath did a awesome job installing new pipe lines in my basement to add a full bathroom and bar. . They were professional, courteous, hardworking and timely. I chose Jacob after meeting him because he came up with a different idea to run some pipes that would be more cost-effective for me. That showed me that he was an honest person and that it wasnâ t all about the money. Iâ d hire him again!"

"Better Plumbing did an awesome job. I am replacing a tub to a walk in shower and after removing the tub I was surprised with a drain pipe from the kitchen that ran behind the tub. I couldn't install my walk in shower base. I didn't know of any plumbers so I used HomeAdvisor and the next day I had the job done and my shower base is installed. Plus they did it on Labor Day. Wonderful guys and very reasonable. I will have them back out to do more work. Thank you."

"Excellent, very professional job. Tyler repaired our bathtub fixtures and replaced the leaking main water-supply valve, as well as the defective water-pressure regulator. He did all that on time and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Denver, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
