I would’ve liked to keep the old pump, but didn’t think to make that request until after the technician left. Called the office for it, but I guess it was already disposed of. "First visit they determined the problem, provided an estimate, replaced the failed sump pump and provided a temporary solution to the gravel that was entering through the collapsed wall of the sump well so I wouldn't be stranded and have the basement flood.  We agreed on a estimate -- labor and parts costs were explained -- and scheduled an appointment for the all day job of jackhammering the basement floor to remove and replace the sump well liner.  Ben explained everything clearly throughout the process. Work was done correctly and area was left clean.  Sump liner replacement came in under estimate and replacement pump they recommended runs significantly quieter than previous one. <br />"
