"Rich Bush did a fantastic job replacing galvanized pipe runs in my basement, and redoing a mess of copper pipes running to the water heater, boiler, and into the house. His copper joints are works of art! He and his apprentice also removed some funky plumbing to my backyard and deck. Their pricing was very reasonable also."

"They replaced my leaking Poly water line from the street to the house with a new copper line. They tried to pull the new line through but were unsuccessful so they eventually had to trench through my yard to install the new copper line. In order to do this, they did have to cut through my concrete driveway which I had to get patched. After some adjustments were made with the new water pressure valve the system works great."

"Nathan was great and really responsive and helpful to clean my chimney, remove some critters and install a chimney cap. He came within 1 day and did a complete and great job. I would definitely call Chimney Champs again for any fireplace issues. A+"

"Several years back, I called for help and we talked through my problem. We concluded that no water was leaving my house and it was backing up out of a pipe in the basement. In talking through our architecture and location, he determined this was most likely something that could be solved by Baltimore City services (for free). That turned out to be the case. The City workers came out fairly quickly, identified and cleared the clog outside my home, and I paid nothing (outside of my tax returns, of course ... "my tax dollars at work"). Knock You Out could have tried to make some money off of me by saying they needed to come out and look at it, then referring me to the City, and then charging me for their time/truck-roll (while prolonging the entire thing for me). Knock You Out is not cold and unscrupulous. By spending time with me on the phone, but doing no work here and making nothing from it, they proved themselves to be honest and decent people. And that may be the main thing we shop for in home services."

"Vernon Frost, master plumber, installed my Moen faucet that I had bought from Lowes. He arrived on time, was very professional and finished the job in a half hour. It has been working fine since installation and I am very happy with my new faucet."

"We needed to replace a toilet, James went with us to Home Depot to select one. We now have a water efficient and higher seated toilet, which is great for aging relatives that can’t bend so easily anymore. I would definitely hire/contract him again!"

"I used this company 4 years ago to repair a hole in my masterbath shower pan and the company was excellent at that time.  Several months ago, the shower pan started showing some small cracks in the laminant.  I called Porcelite.  Charlie, the owner, came to the house to look at the pan.  He told me to schedule with his office which I did.  Charlie stood by his guarantee without any fuss.  The pan was laminated again and looks great.  This is an honorable owner and I would recommend him without hesitation.

"Went well! He had a cancellation so was able to come out by 10am. Tried snaking the drains with the tools he had in truck but had to go back to his shop and get a larger version. Came back with another Plummer to help him. They were able to remove blockage out to the street. Also noted my toilet that wouldn't stop running needed a new part - James agreed to stay and fix it for a reasonable price. Finally, I had a leaky faucet in one of my bathrooms that he was able to quickly replace. Total cost was $700 ($425 for clog, $125 for toilet repair, $150 for faucet). This seemed really fair to me since he was at my place or running around getting things for me from before 10 until after 3. Super nice guy as well, would definitely recommend him and will be calling him for all my future needs."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Freeland, MD

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
