"Vicente is a perfectionist. He will get the project finished with extras to make sure it’s done right. I appreciated the accountability to replace tiles damaged by his crew during the renovation. This was a positive experience."

"We are very impressed with Matt and his team at MDL. His skills, customer service, professionalism were better than many others we have hired over the years. Matt provided well thought out opinions and suggestions for how to handle the drain problem on our patio. The solution he came up with works perfectly! MDL also painted our house and the the foam roof on our detached garage. It was a great value for services provided. And no mess to clean up afterwards! We'll definitively hire MDL in the future when it's time."

"OUTSTANDING! Listened, was patient, checked measurements twice, made sure it was what I wanted before installing. Quote was lower than than other pros. A professional job done right the first time at an affordable price. I could not be happier with the results and would recommend them without reservation!"

"Working with Colton & his crew was an amazing experience, even though we were several thousand miles apart. When I walked in for the first time after remodel, it took me aback…I was so happy about absolutely everything. The crew were very accommodating to us, as we had a lot for them to deal with. First class job 💪🏽🏠"

"?? Warning ? Do Not Use This Contractor (Joe and His Company) I hired Joe and his company to complete a build-out, and the entire experience has been a nightmare from start to finish. The contractor failed to build according to the design, contract, and plans ? all of which clearly stated that all field measurements were to be field verified before work began. Before the foundation was poured, I specifically questioned the subcontractor to make sure the walls would line up correctly. They assured me they would. Once the walls were up, it was obvious they were off by 6 inches. I immediately stopped all work and brought this to Joe?s attention. On top of that, they failed to remove a pre-existing pillar as required, and instead of correcting it, Joe built a second wall over it to support the roof load. Now, I have two walls off. I met with Joe at least four times after stopping the project, and each time he promised to ?come up with a solution.? No real solution was ever provided. Du"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Glendale, AZ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
