Winters was my second call at 6:30 on a Monday evening, and I had a call less than 30 minutes later that a plumber was on the way! Tabor was friendly and a straight shooter. He was quickly able to ID the problem and give us a range of options to fix it - even when one was to let us try to fix it ourselves. I'm so glad we didn't go with that option because he was able to get us water back. He also identified that our water softener was damaged and saved us potentially thousands of dollars of damage. I appreciated how he wasn't just reactive to our situation, but proactive in suggesting solutions that will help our home long term. I am so glad I called Winters Plumbing!"

"William Whitman, the owner came out and started doing the work. They found time in a busy schedule to get a job done. I loved how they were very customer service orientated well mannered and professional. They also cleaned up after the job was completed. When it was raining they were kind enough to remove their work boots, in which I insisted they keep them on. However, I would highly recommend Whitman Plumbing to anyone with plumbing or well needs. I have now found my plumber. Warranty was also offered and now I can say they have a long term customer that is very happy and satisfied with service provided to us. "My mother-in-law contacted this company to fix a leaking gas line in her home. Plumber (Bryce) came out in a timely manner and checked on the status of their lines. After finding 11 leaks near fittings it was recommended to replace the old gas line. At this point, everything seemed good and then came the quote. This company wanted roughly $3800 to replace by their estimate; 50ft of line from the meter through a drop-down ceiling with easy access to two appliances. Making the job cost a whopping $75 afoot! At this point, I got involved as it was clear they were taking advantage of her given the time of year (New Years) and the cold temperature. Having worked in construction for many years, I asked Bryce why this relatively simple job was going to cost so much. After some back and forth he became defensive and hung up on me. I advised my mother-in-law to pay for the work they had done and never talk to this company again. She made an appointment with another more reputable company and they quoted her $980 ($20 an ft) to do the same work! Now tell me where the $2800+ difference comes in besides this company seeking to take advantage of women in a bad situation. It is practices like this that give this industry a bad name and I would be ashamed to be associated with this company in any way. Always get second opinions on work and watch out for companies like this they prey on peoples trust. UPDATE: Was contacted by the company manager, they apologized for what happened and stated that the above tech had been let go due to past transgressions of a similar nature. Additionally they waived the service fee she had been charged for that techs works. I appreciate the manager taking the time to try and make this right and reaching out to her. "Tech gave me a complete overview of gas log theory and operation and advised me regarding troubleshooting my problem, all without charge. Problem solved. I will use Mowery in future should I ever have plumbing / gas piping issues."

"Overall OK. However, after they left I noticed the gas pipe was changed a little. The original gas piping to the water heater was rigidly supported with a sediment trap (dirt leg) at the water heater. The new piping to the water heater was changed to flexible gas piping, not supported and does not have a sediment trap or dirt leg, which I thought was required by code.
