"*AVOID THIS COMPANY: We had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience with H L Bowman and strongly caution others before using this company. In 2019, we hired them to replace an outdoor spigot/hose bib and copper plumbing, which cost $309. That installation ultimately failed within a few years due to what a technician on a recent visit confirmed was an improper initial installation. Fast forward to our recent service call: a technician came out, diagnosed the issue, and quoted us over $700 to replace a simple hose bib with no additional parts required. After questioning the price, they ?discounted? it to $600. Feeling uneasy about the pricing, we asked them to stop the work so we could get a second opinion. Only then did the technician suddenly offer to honor the original 2019 price of $309?raising serious questions about where these pricing numbers were coming from and how such a drastic ?discount? could be offered on the spot. "Josh replaced old stuck valves under 2 sinks , when one of the faucets developed a leak. He then fixed the leaking faucet. He also replaced another faucet that was leaking. "

"I hired JDW Property Solutions and paid $3,500 for an unacceptable fence. The pickets were installed directly in contact with the ground, ignoring the directions on the boards. When mentioned, the alternative was to have them 6 in. above ground. The horizontal boards are uneven- some being flush, others higher/lower causing the back to look sloppy. There are parts where they pieced the horizontal boards together, being sure it was where I probably wouldn't see. They started with 6 screws per board but then dropped to 4 (a couple only have 2) raising serious concerns about durability. The boards were not pressure treated, which I paid for, and was built with 2 horizontal supports where 3 are needed, so warping is likely. Not all materials I paid for were used but they took them all at the end, and even a quick job for a neighbor (which he paid for) was never done.
