"My husband and I hired J.A.K.E. Prestige Renovations to replace a hardwood floor and a bathroom vanity after we bought a condo in Alexandria. The job involved several challenges including navigating and parking on city streets in busy Old Town and a top floor unit at the top of a very steep set of stairs. Nothing was a problem for Jose and his crew, who faced everything with a positive, cheerful, "can do" attitude. Others have praised their work, which is unsurpassed, but we especially appreciated just how easy and yes, fun, it was to wok with Jose. He was a wonderful communicator and so flexible about any changes or problems that arose. He even went out of his way and returned a very heavy double vanity to Home Depot for us on his own time when we had issues with a trucking company picking it up. There are many contractors out there who do great work. He and his team do that, but they also made the process a real joy. We can't recommend them highly enough!"

"Excellent experience. Starting with Calvin (our designer), Jason (PM) and Walter (Crew Lead) they did an outstanding job. Easy to work with and all details handled upfront. No surprises. If the Crew had any questions, they always deferred to me (and wife) and proceeded as we directed. Very respectful of my home, kept the site clean and always removed the construction debris in a timely manner. They provided such an outstanding service, they will be remodeling at least one other bathroom. Top notch."

"“I strongly recommend JW Home Improvement for all home repair and renovation needs. Over the past few weeks we have had various projects completed, including, exhaust fan installation, stairwell repair, dry wall repair, exterior dormer and trim replacement and gutter/downspout painting. All of the technicians were friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, respectful, highly skilled and operated efficiently to finish ahead of scheduled time. Pedro, Kevin and Antonio in particular were exceptional in going above and beyond to produce truly beautiful work. The craftsmanship and precision displayed by these technicians was extraordinary and they were an absolute pleasure to have in my home.”"

"I've hired Omar's company for several years on a variety of projects, from comprehensive bathroom renovations to plaster repair work, and have always been happy with the quality of work, timeliness, and price. Omar is very customer focused and makes sure the work is met with full satisfaction. He is flexible and works with the customer on selecting the right fixtures, tile, cabinets, and other details. I would highly recommend Omar's General Contracting for anyone looking for a good, trustworthy contractor."

"Excellent diagnosis of the work needed. Complete review of external meter and cable rigging needs, upgrade to new panel inside the house and corresponding grounding under the house (crawl space). Very reasonable pricing as well. I’ve hired D&G Remodeling for the work. The Lord is good! Thank you Angi!"

"Gomez Contractor provided a fair quote for roughly 75 feet of drywall, framing, tile, painting, and baseboard repair. They did and excellent job and they were flexible with my schedule. I will definitely use them for any future projects."

"I had an excellent experience with Home Breakthrough and would definitely recommend them for a bathroom remodel. Francisco and his team did exceptional work and took great care of my home throughout the entire project. One thing I especially appreciated was Francisco taking the time to go shopping with me for materials. I really didn’t know what I needed, and he helped me make selections, offering suggestions on good-quality materials that would work within my budget. Because we weren’t sure how extensive the damage would be until the work began, I needed a contractor who could be flexible as issues came up. Home Breakthrough was able to handle the additional work, including a secondary ceiling repair. The project did take longer than originally quoted, but that was understandable given the additional repairs and work that became part of the project. I’m very happy with the finished bathroom and the quality of the work. I would absolutely use Home Breakthrough again."

"Overall, I had an outstanding experience with everyone from John Krause Construction. Their customer service was most impressive. They asked about and worked around my schedule, were all prompt, courteous and friendly, and showed a true desire to complete the work to my satisfaction. Their explanations of the work to be done and the time it would take were clear and accurate. They started the work in less than a week after I signed the contract, and completed it in a week. This was well beyond my expectations since a lot needed to be done, including drywall repair and painting some hard to reach areas, shingle repair, gutter cleaning, and concrete step repair. Their cost estimate was competitive and fair. There were a couple hiccups along the way, including matching the interior paint color and trouble with installing a door handle, but everything worked out ok. I would certainly hire them again for any general home repairs/improvements."

"I Hired John James property after having major issues with my first contractor during my complete renovation of my garden apartment. Not only was he prompt in returning my initial call, but he came by within 24 hours to see what I needed done and start working on an estimate. I could probably have gotten a cheaper contractor but I know for sure, I could NOT have gotten a better contractor. You pay for what you get. From start to finish, he was ALWAYS available to assist me, no matter the time or day, with things that I did not understand about the process and to make sure we stayed on schedule. ALL of his workers were trustworthy, prompt and efficient. One of his contractors even agreed to assist me after the job was complete with some handyman issues. I am EXTREMELY happy with the final outcome and would HIGHLY recommend him and his company. Thank you John James properties for making this process for me, stress and worry free!!"

"We had significant water damage to our basement floor and ended up needing to replace the entire floor and parts of the walls. A hugely stressful situation got so much better after finding John and his team! They just finished the basement today and it’s absolutely perfect. They did the drywall, trim, flooring, replaced a vanity light, and installed a curtain rod. We are so incredibly happy with the work done and will absolutely be using this company for future home repairs and remodels!"
