"The project was done in a timely manner, the workmanship was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I would hire again! Needed a concrete pad and sidewalk poured for the installation of an outdoor walk-in cooler at our farm."

"I?ve had a lot of leaking and water damage in my foundation of my home over the past few years and now we were ready to address it. I hired this company to waterproof my foundation and to install some new pointing along my foundation walls. We also installed some drainage around my home. Our issue is completely resolved, and I am very happy with the results of the work this company has completed. I highly recommend this company, It has been a great experience."

"MRS are professional and skilled in their trade! They communicated well, writing a complete proposal we could agree on. They are on time and within budget. Explained and answered any questions or concerns about materials. Worked diligently to complete the walks, a little earlier than I anticipated! Very happy with both walkways. I will them back to do future work."

"Very informative and nice rep who came out. It did take a month for the appointment, but understandably since they offer a free inspection price estimate. However, sadly, they never bothered to return an estimate to me nor to even accept my business. I waited a month for nothing in that effect and will have to start over with a new company to get quotes and hire consequently."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Melrose, MA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
