"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."

"my neighborhood has  this service come thru weekly and you schedule them to come, and they come to you on their weekly pass thru.  it's pretty busy, so it really took about 3 weeks to get them out here.
The light fixture came off the wall because it was never installed properly to begin with.  (NOT installed by this provider!)
The guy COULD have installed it properly and (for an additional fee of $200) would have been happy to do so.  However, we are just getting ready to reno the entire bathroom and since I don't even know if I will keep the same light fixtures, or even if they will be in the same place, we opted not to do that.  
I have another handyman that I really like, so I probably wouldn't use this service in the future-mostly because I really like my "usual guy" and I like to stay loyal to him, and partly because I was hoping it really only would take a week to get them out here since they do come thru the neigborhood-but it really took about 3 weeks, and I can get my regular handyman out here just as quickly.

They showed me other products and services they offer, but did not pressured at all. They were able to get up shelving quickly. The technicians also answered all of my questions. "Steve, Nick and Joe arrived on time and per schedule. They moved the beds for me (the only furniture I couldn't move myself) and got straight to work. They were extremely polite and pleasant to work with. They had great attention to detail and were very organized and efficient. The floors look absolutely wonderful. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
