"We used Apex years ago at our old house, and they did a great job. Pat, then-owner, was very nice, pleasant, and fair in pricing. His workers did a wonderful job. Fast forward to the present and our current home: started off with a leaky pipe fitting. I called Apex, despite Google listing the business as "permanently closed" - I assure you, it is not! Please ignore that and give them a call for any roofing needs. This time, I worked with Jared, Pat's son. He was equally as, if not more, pleasant, fair, and super easy to work with. He responded in a very timely manner, set very realistic expectations for getting work done, and worked closely with us to make sure our heated driveway didn't get damaged from all the work. We never felt like he was price-gouging or trying to take advantage of us at all. Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner, and all the workers were very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to call Apex again for any issues with our roof, as I found them incredibly competitive and I love supporting local businesses. If you're in need of a roof repair or replacement, seriously consider giving Apex Roofing, Inc a call!"

"Slavi, owner, arrived on time for the estimate appointment(in fact he was 15 mins. early). He explained throughly the roofing system and answered ALL my questions, which were numerous because I had done ALOT of research prior to interviewing a total of 4 contractors. He offered a choice of 5 different shingle companies to choose from and explained in detail why he was going to install box vents with a power vent instead of a ridge vent. Next, he actually went on the roof to inspect and measure (the only one of 4 contractors !). He explained that the roof was in poor condition( which was no surprise) ,that several boards would need replacing and that he did not want to install the new roof until the two chimneys were rebuild. He was the only contractor to mention the condition of the chimneys and I thought it was very honest of him to mention this since he could of lost a sale. (Also confirmed by the chimney contractor that the work should be done b/f roof). Another area of my concern was all the landscaping around my home. Slavi assured me that they would remove all the debris from the house to the garage into the dumpster (not throw it all around the house and take measures to protect the landscaping. He left me a packet of information on the different roofing systems along with his business license and insurance information etc and mentioned that they had worked on a house down the street, that I could call the office to get more information. Sue (office), very pleasant , provided the info and and she also emailed, the same day, a list of previous jobs in my area that I had requested. <br /> After the second interview to clarify a few points and finalize the contract, Slavi gave an estimated time of the following week to begin the project and 2 days to complete work. As it turned out, Kosta, crew leader, had to make an extra trip to remove the delivered felt from the roof b/c predicted rain. The work began one or two days later than estimated. Kosta and the crew were polite, professional and efficient. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. My landscaping and window walls were protected as promised. He thought the job would take 3 days, however they finished in 2 and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. I think they must have gone around the house at least 5 times with magnet and blower. <br /> I would definitely recommend Slavi and Roofing Depot to anyone. They are very professional, honest, with competitive prices. <br /> <br />"

"First Eugene worked extremely well addressing my concerns what I wanted balancing quality and price. I had improper ventilation and roof leeks resulting in mold and wood issues. He advised me of the options for proper ventilation and and wood cost and priced several quality levels for the shingles. Installation was started when promised. They found that much of the roof had wood so damaged that a nail could be pulled by hand. They finished in one day even having to replace 50 sheets of OSB, remove box vents and install new ridge vents. 8 soffit vents were added and 3 gable vents were closed a few days after the roof was done bringing the ventilation to a proper level and up to code. The price estimated at about $11,100 included some wood and the soffit vents. Extra wood at the time I contracted for the job cost me an extra 2,200 but that would be higher today. PS I expect good service and have never given a all 5 star rating in my 72 years."

Otherwise the roof was in pretty good shape. I know that many companies could have taken advantage of my elderly grandfather and recommended an entire roof replacement. But the gentleman that came out was so honest and straightforward. He agreed that a repair was all that was needed. And the price was excellent compared to some of the other ones we had called around to get. I appreciate this companies honesty and professionalism. His roof is as good as new. "The roof shingle replacement process from start to finish was very smooth. The Performance Roofing team came to my house within a couple of days of first contact and walked me through the process. They were at my location when the insurance adjuster came, included everything I asked for in their quote, handled permit, and forced me to get approval from my HOA to close the loop before they started the work. Their crew showed up early in the morning, finished the work on my 2,800+ sqft roof in one day, and cleaned everything (including nails) before they left. Finally, they took pictures of the shingle installation process and shared them with me. I can't think of anything that went wrong or was not as I expected it to be."
