"Heard water running in pipes inside the wall; knew we had a leak but didn't know where. Called American Leak Detection on Saturday night and left a message; got a call back before 9AM on Monday. Thanks to a cancellation, they had their guys here in 20 minutes. The found the leak within 15 minutes. I was lucky enough to get the plumber out the same day. The leak was under the slab so they had to jackhammer out a piece of the floor but the job was done the same day. The leak was within a few inches of where ADL marked it! Very accurate, clean, professional, friendly service and saved me days of stress. They charge a flat fee so there is no guess work. Very thankful to them and will absolutely use again if necessary (I hope not)."

"Our request and response was handled quickly and efficiently. The repair/replacement work was done on time, as promised. The service technician was professional, courteous, and very helpful. We are very happy with the work done, the quality of the new water heater, and with the way the Big Deal system worked. We're glad we did this before we had a real problem. The technician gave us some maintenance tips that will save us money and headaches in the future. <br />"

"I found this company on Angie's List and called them based on their favorable ratings.  I am happy to add another favorable rating to their list.  <br /> We bought a home earlier this year that has a gas fireplace and we tried to start it but it didn't start.  We wanted to have it inspected and serviced so that it would work and to ensure that there were no mechanical difficulties that needed repair.  I called for an appointment during a week where the temperature dropped so I knew they had a busy workload. We received an appointment for a week later which was fine since this was nothing urgent.  <br /> Their technician, Keith and an assistant came promptly at their appointed time.  He was very knowledgeable and thorough. Both were very pleasant to deal with and professional. Keith checked that the chimney looked clear and that the mechanicals looked good.  He showed us how to light the fireplace and it worked the first time. He added some 'embers' material for effect and was even nice enough to give us some extra for the future if we ever want to add more.  <br /> We had an excellent experience with them - I highly recommend their services and will definitely call upon them again <br /> as needed.  <br />"

"Mike was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly . He came on time and went right to work replacing the leaky pump housing and one leaky valve . It was fixed within an hour. Not only did he fix the pump issue he alerted me to a leak bubbling up from a pipe underground connected to my outside spigot. I was thankful that he pointed this out so that I could call my plumber and address the issue immediately. Had he not pointed out the problem my water bill would have been off the charts ! Thanks again Mike ."

"Integrity Gas Services Inc did a perfect job. Frank is the main guy and he is the owner and he will come out any time of the day or night, 24 hours a day. You call that man wherever he is on the road, he will show up if you have a leak, you have a fear, you have a question or a worry and this man will tell you okay I am on this job but I will be there at 10pm sharp and he shows up. He did a lot of work for us and he went above and beyond what normally a gas person would do. We had a hot water pipe leak and we weren't sure where the leak was and they were showing up out of the ground because that is the way they did it in the 50s and this is a commercial property and he went in there and listed out the copper lines and he redid the copper lines and the hot water and cold water. He also came out in the middle of the night to put a complete new thermostat and burner in a 300 gallon commercial hot water heater and he got the right part and he saved me USD 3000, I paid him like USD 75 for that call. I depend on him totally and he showed us where the lines and pipes were and he put valves and the installation was professional, Frank is something else, I have never dealt with anybody who dealt with gas like him. He picked the right name for his company."

"<p>Our new home had an existing propane tank to heat the pool and spa. The tank was with another service provider and after reading about many bad experiences with that provider, we decided to go with Discount Propane. They were very professional from start to finish. When we called they asked us about the propane tank and explained that they were required to give the old propane company 2 days written notice of their intent to install a new tank on our property. We agreed to this and had an appointment set up immediately. Based on our research, the estimate they gave us to install and fill a new tank was very competitive.</p> <p>When the tech came out to do the job he informed us that we actually owned the tank on our property, so we would not need to pay for a new tank to be installed. This cut the cost of the job by 2/3 what we were quoted. I'm sure a dishonest company could have just installed a new tank, hauled off the old tank, and charged us the full amount, especially since we were not expecting to own the tank on our property. Needless to say, we were very pleased and impressed by this service! I should also add that the tech was very prompt and arrived at the scheduled appointment time. </p>"

"<p>The office staff was very friendly and gave me a quote over the phone. Their pricing was very competitive, less than what I was currently paying per gallon. I was able to purchase service over the phone and schedule a time for them to come out with one phone call. I have a busy schedule so I appreciated this convenience. The technicians who installed my new tank showed up when they said they would and were also very friendly and professional. Overall, I am satisfied with Discount Propane and would highly recommend them. </p> <br />"

"All went very well regarding the installation.  Couldn't be more satisfied.  GPM did a 12 month descale in 2012. However, later when I had a problem with the unit, I called GPM, advised the code on the unit, and they gave me information that it was a gas problem and to contact the gas company, which I did.  That was not the problem however, so I called GPM again, they gave me "that's the code for gas".  I then made the decision to contact the manufacturer.  They gave me several names of contacts in my area.  I contacted several and finally got a knowledgeable company who was manufacturer trained to install / service the unit.  This company was not listed when I originally took a look at certified companies. <br /> Before we started, the first emaiIs I received in answer to a few questions I had were as follows:   "I cover entire state.  Travel charge will apply..."; "...you sure you checked your area for a local installer?"; and lastly "Sorry, I don't know any plumbers down your way.  I never turn down work." GPM accepted the install work. I did receive an email from GPM in November of 2012, after all of my "help" calls, that stated:  "Please don't take this wrong but this is one of the reasons why I said in the beginning that you should use someone more local for this work. You are a distance from my normal service area and it is very hard for me to arrange times to get down to your area on a normal call versus emergency services." <br />   <br /> Therefore, I highly recommend, including myself, to confirm maintenance service is available after install.  I only recommend GPM for installation but not for maintenance.  Find someone in your local area! <br /> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Palm Coast, FL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
