"Caboose Crew Construction did an excellent job start to finish on the addition to my house. This included the addition of a laundry room and handicapped accessible bathroom as well the relocation/ enlargement of the kitchen and the creation of breakfast nook area to the existing first floor of my home. Shawn helped me visualize various options to the work and often offered suggestions that surpassed my original expectations. He was a very good manager being able to share his knowledge base so his crew could work in a professional and independent manner in his absence. In addition Shawn was very flexible when I asked for job alterations, additional work projects etc. Overall it was a very positive experience working with Caboose Crew Construction."

"Matt and his team with MNB Renovations did a 32 x 24 addition that was basically a home build from the ground up. I am still surprised for the size of this project how stress free the process was. Matt was very detailed and checked in on everything to make sure we were getting what we wanted. In the end he asked us to make a list of anything that needed to be addressed and there was absolutely nothing to mention. They did a perfect job, the quality of the work is amazing, and the entire team was very nice, professional, and trustworthy! I absolutely recommend this company to others and will definitely use them again in the future!"

"After getting estimates from other contractors, Total Home Solutions delivered. Very professional, the contractors they use definitely excel at what they do. The repairs were required to list our house on the market, due to the excellent job they did, helped to get us an offer for our full asking price from the first person that came to look at our house! Will definitely use them door things we need done after we move into our new home and definitely recommend them for any renovations needed."

"The Funari's were amazing! My master bathroom shower leaked through the ceiling and into my dining room. Funari's and their team helped right away and were so kind in their work. Everything was explained clearly and their team was ready for all my questions. This was my first major issue as a new home owner and they took such wonderful care of making sure I had all the information I needed. They worked alongside my insurance and my HOA to get me the best results. I am so thankful for all their help and support!"

"I was forced to fire that contractor. I called John Mitchell, he made an appointment to come out, inspected the job, reported to work on the decided upon date and time. He arrived at 8 am promptly and worked until late afternoon. He is the expert, professional, extremely organized, neat, and cleans up after he finishes for the day. John finished the job in 2 days. It was the best money I have spent in years. HE IS WONDERFUL. HE FIXED CABINETS THAT MY CONTRACTOR HAD INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. HE ADDED FINISHING TOUCHES WITHOUT BEING ASKED BECAUSE HE KNEW WHAT TO DO, AND TAKES PRIDE IN HIS WORK. WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK ON DAY 2, HE HAD FINISHED AND LEFT, AND I WAS SO SURPRISED. MY KITCHEN LOOKS LIKE THE IKEA SHOWROOMS, EVEN BETTER! IF YOU HAVE IKEA CABINETS TO INSTALL, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY LIKE I DID - GET THE BEST-JOHN MITCHELL. You can come see my kitchen any time!"

"Hunt General Contracting installed my attic in a single day, after some of the other contractors I had asked had given me estimates of "1 week" and "we don't work weekends". ONE day, and for a great price as well-- lower than any of the competitors. The workers were all courteous and definitely knew what they were doing. When I asked "could we do this or this" they gave honest and knowledgeable answers. I'd definitely recommend this contractor again. <br />"

"We hired Andrew and his crew for three small jobs over the course of the last few months: installing a new kitchen tile back-splash, repairing a rotted wood window frame, and building a small deck around the perimeter of our sun room. None of these were big jobs compared to what Andrew typically does, but he was willing to take them on. In all three instances, they did a terrific job, producing results that were better than what we hoped for. Their suggestions both before and during the jobs improved the result, and we couldn’t be happier. Andrew’s prices were fair, and the final cost was exactly what we had agreed upon via his written estimates. Andrew and his foreman, Rob Evans, were both a pleasure to work with – arriving on time, working hard to produce a quality result, and cleaning up afterwards. We had to be patient to allow Andrew to find time for our small jobs in between his much larger projects building huge decks, renovating kitchens and bathrooms, and finishing basements. But we were very pleased that we waited for him to be available. We are considering renovating our second-floor bathroom, and there is no doubt Andrew will be our first call when we are ready for that project. He should be your first call too."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Pennsburg, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
