I purchased the $100 service for $29 on 2/1/14. I gave my 3 suggested dates. I did not hear anything for 4 days, when finally I received and email saying my appointment was for 9-10am on 2/11/14. I asked if anything sooner as the leak was getting worse. Edgar told me he could send someone that day if I was willing to NOT use the coupon. If I wanted to use coupon, then 2/11 was the soonest (interesting). I made special arrangements for 2/11 to be home. It was after 11am and still no one showed up, called or emailed. After 3 attempts to call a number with no voicemail, I got hold of John. He did not know what was happening, yet said he would look into it and get back to me. Over an hour later, I called John as I had still not heard anything. Once I said in the second call I got this special from Angie's list, it seemed to push this into gear. Later that day, I get another email from Edgar, saying he had meant 2/18 all along. I told him there were multiple emails from him confirming 2/11 and I did not believe he made a mistake multiple times with that date. He was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL in his final response. Miguel was wonderful, I cannot stress that enpugh. The rest of my experience was disasterous!!!!!! Unprofessional. Also, you need to put in the fine print that there is a $19.99 fuel charge. bogus. I don't think I would suggest to anyone else to use this company, although if I was certain to get Miguel each time, I may consider using again. Otherwise, I have not been impressed at all with this company."

I prefer to use local businesses if at all possible. Yariv was polite and nice to work with. He showed up on time and was very matter-of-fact about the job. This was an insurance claim, so I wasn't worried about pricing too much, but it was very reasonable in my opinion. The only problem I had was when the rains came later on and the shed door expanded with humidity. It started to scrape on the bottom. I could have called him back, but decided to fix it myself and it was no problem. I would not hesitate to use him again for general handyman needs. Thanks!"

"I bought an Angie's list deal for dry wall repair but really they just spread some spackle on it and left it rough. I had to scrape off the blobs of spackle left on the ceiling. My boyfriend could have done the same job. I wanted them to actually replace the dry wall where it was cracking. Mainly they wanted to sell me more jobs and pushed me to sign on with them to get new insulation in the attic. I had them give me an estimate on rain gutters while they were here. Their estimate/prices are very high. I think they have to pay for all those people manning the phones. It sounds like a boiler room when they call."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
