"Trevor has been an amazing contractor who has helped us through the process of installing a large interior door for an office. He has helped ensure the space was properly prepared for installation of the door. The other contractors who have assisted Trevor have also exceeded my expectations. They have been extremely detail oriented and have done everything to ensure the best outcome. I would definitely work with Trevor for any future projects."

"I am sorry to say I would not use Mr Duffy again nor recommend him.
John took 6 weeks to complete the job due to personal travel & a knee injury.
Although John does have skills - he was quick to make sure he did not do anything that he might not be paid for -
since I never objected to paying - this attitude was not needed. Due to his personal situation he seemed to rush the job - work was poorly done or undone as a result.
EX: He charged an extra $200 for two hours to paint the railings brown on the deck - maybe 26ft all together.
The paint he used on the railings was shiny latex and due to the Florida weather (rain & humidity) it never completely dried - it began to peel off within days. It has continued to come off anytime something touches the railing surface..I sent him a text with picture the next day after he completed and asked for a solution - he did not reply. He had moved to North Carolina.
I am disappointed for these & other reasons - including my need to repaint the entire 12x24 deck myself as the paint Mr Duffy used in his addition did not match the sealer already on the deck. He explained the sun had lightened the existing deck but that did not turn out to be the case. I really hoped the job could have looked more professional when completed. I wanted a great back yard to entertain in. For what it cost I should have that."

"I think they did a wonderful job. I told them in the summer I had to have the kitchen done by Christmas and it was. Randy the owner has a good relationship the city and the codes inspectors which was good to have in getting approval to gut the garage. John the son is the foreman on the job everyday but you can call the dad anytime and he'll come right over if you want him to sit down and talk. Everything is done with high quality materials. We have encountered no problems. Everyone on the job is highly skilled. Our home was built in 1940 and they were able to renovate it to look like it was all original to the home, not bits and pieces added on."

"We are very pleased with the GutterGlove product and Gutter Glove of NC. They were very responsive. They showed up as promised and the work was done very professionally. We estimated the cost for the job and it came in just about the same as we calculated based on the amount of product and time to install. We were also pleased that they were willing to drive to the Western part of the state from Raleigh to do the job. They cleaned up after the job as well. Can't say enough about the company and the product. We would use them again."

"When making the appointments I was always clear that I wanted the out of place shingle addressed and confirmed I would not need to be home for the visit. Scheduling got rained off 3 times (nothing they could do about that), but I had to follow up with them to reschedule. The last time I called to reschedule, I was told that the service had been completed and the result was “no shingles were out of place & they could not get access to the rear of the property, as it was fenced.” That's it! I eventually talked with the technician responsible for the visit who informed me: 1. He did not actually visit but sent someone else 2. They will not open a gate as they are concerned about dogs and liabilities (really…. & the gate was open that day)! 3. He was unaware this was an angieslist tune up and when he realized that, he stated the roof was too steep to qualify and that's why they did not go on the roof The difficulties scheduling, level of communication and the technician’s story did not make me feel comfortable continuing to work with them and we agreed they would refund the “deal”. The management team was then very responsive and professional and the deal was refunded immediately. I am now getting another angieslist contractor to look and quote for the repair. I did not believe the claim that my roof is too steep to qualify for the deal. It does not look anything special, it is the same as all the others in our neighborhood and contractors have walked on mine and neighbors before. BUT from accurate measurement in the attic, I confirmed it is an 8-12 roof which does not qualify for any roof deals on angieslist. Before purchasing any roof tune up deal, I would recommend members go into their attic and measure the rise for a horizontal run to confirm their roof is within deal specifications (6 inches rise for 12 inches of horizontal travel)."

"I wasn't really happy with the service. They hired someone else to do our roof. I actually wanted the roofer that worked for the company to do the work. Three or four months later we had a wind storm and it knocked three or four shingles off. I called Mark and he came back out to fix it. We had a communication problem in the beginning but since have worked on the issue."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Robbinsville, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
