"We had our kitchen renovated. It was our first time, and didnâ t realize the contractor could also get cabinetry and other stuff. ( I thought they only specialized around the installation aspect). We had gone with a (friend recommended) kitchen design company who told us after we had measures and placed orders, that we were too far for them to use their installers and we needed to find our own contractor. I found Fowler construction on Angie. The design company was responsible for many delays, damaged material, and mistakes and Fowler Construction was able to work around the delays and basically fix the design companyâ s ineptitude. We will definitely be calling them again for our next renovation."

"This company did a wonderful job on the pavers for the patio. It seem to be a difficult job due to the slope we have in the back yard. They executed the job great. We are very happy with the results. I would recommend them to my family and friends any day."

"Susan and the Clean Cut team have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They have helped take a blank slate (or pile of dirt if you want to be specific) and transform it into a beautiful and practical exterior of our home. They did such a great job that we have utilized their team not only for the first phase of our home landscaping, but then brought them back each of the next two years to continue to implement new ideas & changes we looked for at our home. We have leveraged their team for everything from sod & irrigation, hard scape, custom lights and so much more! Susan and team have always put their customer hat on, helping balance the investment and aesthetics. There is nothing better than watching the fleet of Clean Cut trucks and machinery roll in for a project (when you hire then you’ll know what I mean - it’s impressive!!!). They’re easy to work with and have a great team…nothing but glowing endorsements and promise they will help elevate your home, whether it’s starting from scratch or improving on your existing outdoor set up. Thanks to the Clean Cut team & I’m sure another project is on the horizon…"

"We hired John Haddad to do a major spring clean-up of our yard, hedges, and beds with re-mulching after a few years of neglect. I have zero complaints at all about our experience. His work was extremely thorough and complete, and he works very efficiently. The most exceptional thing about John (compared to many other contractors, unfortunately) was how great the communication was. He told me he'd write a proposal and send it, and he did so promptly. He always texted about when he was coming and his plans. This is a big deal for me as I have a young baby and don't have time to worry about someone who flakes out. He was so responsible and responsive. Our yard looks great this year and I will 100% hire him again in the future."

"Dear friends in Ann Arbor had Lotus Gardenscapes transform their courtyard and highly recommended them.  I contacted Traven @Lotus Gardenscapes to address my front courtyard that was tired, overgrown and worn out.  I have brick home that had an integrated privacy wall across the front of the house.  The bricks were crumbling and in desperate need of repair, the courtyard itself contained a never used hot tub and in short - an urban jungle of despair.   I knew what I wanted that area to look like, I just needed someone to embrace what I wanted to bring it to life.  I had met with previous companies that discouraged my from my ideas stating they were 'too much' for a place like Plymouth and returning designs that neither captured what I wanted or listened my expectations regarding plantings.

Prior to meeting with Traven Pelletier for our initial meeting, we had spoken on the phone and I provided pictures and descriptions of what I wanted to achieve and a budget I wanted to stay within.  When we met, I knew instantly I would enjoy working with Traven and his crew.  He was very detailed in the process that he follows with clients and we discussed options to keep me around my budget.   Traven did not discount my idea for the new privacy wall, on the contrary, had his designer bring it to life!  I had opted to have a 3D model done because the change was going to be nothing short of dramatic, from both the side I view from inside the home and what you see from the street.  I was blown away at the level of detail captured - right down to the details on the lighting that is on the house. My decision to move forward with that design and his company was easy.  He did have to push me a little out of my comfort zone to increase my budget, and in terms of an overage of a construction project, it was minimal.

His crews demolished a brick wall (a little of 7 ft tall and 30 ft in overall length, repaired the tie-in to the house, cleared an urban jungle, moved the hot tub out of the area, installed a stunning patio of Rosetta product.  They designed and built the new privacy structure and designed and are installing the landscaping within my new patio.  This patio is not a patio, it is an outdoor room which is between 180 and 200 sq ft of floor space plus generous panting beds.  I could not be more thrilled with the outcome and the people I worked with!  Each day was a treat to see the progress.  When I arrived home yesterday to see the finished privacy wall, it was a truly an amazing moment; to see my vision become reality.

This company is professional, prompt, neat and kept me informed.  I was informed when to expect Miss Dig, when they would start and any weather delays that were expected.   I was extremely comfortable leaving access to my home for them, to get to the electrical panel, water line and access to a powder room.

While wood crew was on site, Chris - in charge of the construction was able to fit in a secondary project to repair my wood shed.  I could not have been more thrilled with the ability and flexibility for them to add that in. The stone crew did an amazing job and I was relieved at the care they took to keep the lawn repair requirements down.  A special thank you to Jim for chasing my garbage barrels in the wind storm and getting them back to the garage.  To me, it is the extra care that they took that made this project even more enjoyable for me.

I look forward to the next project that I will have Lotus Gardenscapes and Elemental Design helping reinvent this lot!"

As I said before, Jesse is not only a fine wood craftsman, but there's nothing he can't do. He can make his own cabinets, doors, mantles, virtually any custom creation you can dream up. I've recommended him to friends for all types of custom jobs and everyone was completely satisfied.  I would trust him for any remodel project, custom build, or something as simple as putting crown moldings in your house.  He's a very friendly, clean-cut, polite, and honorable contractor.

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Saline, MI

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
