I contacted several but Motion was the most reasonable and they explained exactly the process so I understood what was happening. "We recently had a significant amount of work done by Clear All Rooter Plumbing, and we couldnâ t be more impressed! The scope of work included: New Drains Under the Home: They hand-dug to remove the old cast iron main sewer pipe and drains for two bathrooms, the kitchen, and laundry. They replaced everything with new ABS piping, ensuring proper slope and sizing, and pressure-tested the entire system. New Angle Stop and Supply Line: They installed a new quarter-turn angle stop and 20â supply line for the toilet, replacing the old system. New Water Lines and Pressure Regulator: They removed the existing horizontal water lines and installed new PEX water lines under the house, along with a shut-off ball valve, pressure regulator, pressure relief valve, and hose bib. They even opened drywall to inspect a leak and added an access panel, securing everything with pipe clamps and offering a 30-year warranty. Install ABS Clean-Out: They hand-dug and removed the old cast iron pipe, replacing it with a new 3â ABS pipe and a two-way ground-level clean-out, ensuring everything was pressure-tested and the hole was neatly backfilled with native soil. "This was a difficult project, owing to the no-cripple-wall construction of my house and the ridiculously tight crawl space - less than a foot in critical spots - plus the maze of beams and ducts. I called six or seven plumbers to come out and bid the work and two of them ran screaming (well, not really, they just told me they needed to work up an estimate 'back at the office' and never called back). One guy swore I'd have to rip out a wall AND the floor to get to the pipe. Mr. Rooter didn't propose anything so dramatic. They just said they'd excavate as needed to make room to move around. So that's what they did. They billed it as a two-day job. They showed up on time, and the work was wrapped up by the third hour of the second day. Because that, I was concerned this job had been overbilled. Their bid had been astronomical, but it was still lower than everyone's except the guy with the lapsed bond. Mr. Rooter had been willing to negotiate and I knocked about $650 off their initial bid. They took another $200 off at the back end because of my concern with overbilling. They didn't have to do that since they had a signed contract in hand, but they were willing to take care of a customer. Thumbs up for that. The work looks solid, as far as this layman can tell. Everything drains as it should and none of the joints leak."

"Professional arrived as scheduled and surveyed and discussed problem. Set up equipment and went to work under cleared kitchen sink. Ran equipment thru system and then went to up stairs bathroom shower and cleaned out drain. After interior drains were cleared used rooter tool to clear main drain to street. <br /> Plumber was very professional and provided tips as he worked. He was clean and neat and cleaned up before leaving. <br /> I would use him again and recommend the service to my friends and neighbors. <br />"
