"The work that was performed was satisfactory. The water pressure in both sinks is now much better. However, technically, only the kitchen sink had any billable work done on it where a stop valve was replaced on the hot water line. After replacing the stop valve and turning it back on, the hot water still did not work properly. It took some additional cleaning out of the faucet and lines before the hot water worked satisfactorily. Because of this, it made me wonder if the stop valve was really the problem or not. The sink in the half bath was examined and I was told that a new cartridge was needed. After leaving and indicating that they had visited two supply houses, the plumber's returned and said the particular cartridge was not available. Since we did not desire to install a new faucet, the original cartridge was replaced and the plumbers left with the stop valves to the sink turned off. I turned them on later just to see what would happen and the water worked just fine again. We did have to return the items that were removed by the plumbers for access from under both sinks ourselves after they left."

They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment.
