"Line is inside exterior block wall of the house so Billy suggested we remove the cabinets inside and jack hammer out the adobe wall from there to expose the pipes. He also was concerned there was moisture or mildew under the cabinets and contacted a restoration company to come out and do a free inspection. I thought that was very conscientious of him and forward thinking. He left awaiting the results from the restoration company, which turned out negative (Whew !). I asked Cal plumbing to send him back by so we could finalize the plan for repair. We settled on taking out the exterior wall since adobe walls are quite thick and it was clear that the pipes were closer to the exterior wall. Once the wall was removed Billy quickly and efficiently removed the old piping, the galvanized had a 3" long hole where it had rotted through the bottom. Billy had us run several tests to ensure no leaks and solid connections. Since Cal's does not do the block repair, I found an adobe contractor who came out later that day and repaired the wall. The drain has been running great ever since. The price was very fair for the difficulty of the job."

These guys definitely seem professional: they show up on time, have good electronic communication (text/email), professional looking estimates, have the right tools, respect your house, clean up after themselves, responsive, etc. There was a little snafu with the tub spout, but they quickly came back and corrected the leak. The exterior water shutoff was previously a convulted mess left from some other plumber sand these guys did a great making a new water shutoff valve that was clean and professional. They left the site clean and I feel the price paid for the work was worth it. We later hired them to do a water heater as well, and that was also done perfectly."

"We really needed the roof over our work shop and carport re-coated, as it hadn't been done in over six years. I asked for several estimates, and Erik from EH Handyman Services had the most reasonable bid by far.....very fair! Therefore, I selected him to provide the labor for the job, while I supplied all of the needed materials using a shopping list that Erik had provided for me. Erik properly prepared the surface of the roof before applying 2 heavy layers of roof coating material. The preparation included removing (and later replacing) some terra cotta trim tiles, and performing three-course re-sealing of the roof penetrations. The job turned out great, and I am highly satisfied with the quality of his work! While performing his work, Erik was timely, professional, friendly, respectful, trustworthy, very thorough, and patiently addressed all of my concerns, which gave me the peace of mind I needed! I plan to utilize his services again for some future projects around my home, and I highly recommend him to perform any work within his scope of experience, and he seems to be a highly versatile handyman!
