"I’ve used Anthony Heating & Plumbing for close to 8 years. They’ve replaced heating/A/C and water heater. They also have done some plumbing, fixed a sump pump issue, installed new PVC pipes for better flow and do annual general maintenance on my A/C and heater. They are punctual, friendly and clean. A few of my neighbors began using them."

"The whole operation went beautifully. Paul and his whole team were very considerate in helping us along the entire process. We knew we wanted the bathrooms redone but didn't have much in the way of a design figured out, not even colors!  Paul's designer Linda helped us through that process: picking out specific tile, sizes, combinations for accents in the shower, etc. Paul and the rest of his team also helped us decide on where we wanted things to go, what sort of lights to put in, etc. All their suggestions were great and they performed them admirably. They were all very patient with us, which was wonderful because we were also planning our wedding at the same time! In fact the bathroom was completed a day before I had out of town guests coming to stay with me, which was perfect! The workers laid down floor covering between the front door entrance, the garage, and the bathroom, and kept the work space and the floors very clean between days. They were never in the way and were very considerate and cheerful throughout the whole process. The bathroom looks incredible, and just needs some paint (which we wanted to do ourselves since we hadn't picked out any final colors) to be done. From the fixtures to the tub to the floor to the shower (which Rex did an amazing job tiling) it's absolutely perfect. And we remark on it every day we use it!"

"Greatly recommend! Here’s our experience. We had an appointment scheduled, but the technician ran outside of the window provided. They did keep in touch throughout that time, but we had to reschedule the appointment for the next day. The two appointment times that they had available did not work with previous engagements. So the owner of the company came out to fix our drain during a window of time that worked for me. He was professional, prompt, and very efficient, as were all the employees I spoke with. He was very informative and personable while working. Would absolutely use again and recommend to all of my friends! Thank you!"

"It was nice to have a honest person doing work on my home. He was fast to come out and bid the job, and said that he would come out the next day to fix it. He bet his arrival time and got started right away. After the job was completed he checked his work and picked up the work site. This guy will answer all your question and does great work at a fair price. You will not be disappointed."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Valley Falls, KS

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
