"After many months of futile attempts to remove raccoons from my attic, I contacted Mr. Lee Kennerly. He responded within minutes and was at my home later that day. He evaluated the situation and after giving me a fair and reasonable estimate for the necessary services, Mr. Kennerly set out traps. As promised, he returned each day to send video/photographic updates, check the traps, remove any captured animals and/or reset the traps. Mr. Kennerly fulfilled â completely- what he and I had agreed upon. Initially, we made the mistake of going with a large national company to treat a termite infestation, and the first guys completely missed the fact that termites had infested a crawl space beneath our house. So termites continued to eat our home for a year from when the first company serviced us, due to their ineptitude. When Ralph from Suburban Pest Control took over, he and his staff immediately identified the source of the problem, treated it aggressively, and kept us informed every step of the way. They didn't try to sell us a bunch of expensive and completely unnecessary stuff like the previous company did. And they are here in a timely manner every month to check the above ground baits. "I honestly can't say enough positive things about Thoroughspect and Brian. We moved into a new house over the summer with major bat and mouse issues, and water in the basement. Of all the service providers we had (and there were a ton), Thoroughspect was by far the best value for the money and the most effective and reliable, and Brian is a pleasure to deal with. I don't typically ever write reviews, but the only reason I waited this long to write a review was because I wanted to make sure that the problems were solved even after a few months and into the winter. I can happily say we are 100% pest and water free! The bottom line is that other pest control companies' businesses rely on maintenance agreements, so they only make money if you continue to need maintenance. Brian's business is only successful if he actually solves the problem, and that is what he does. In addition to the services I paid for, he also provided a ton of great free advice about other things in my house, some of which were potential safety issues for my 2 young kids for which my wife and I were extremely appreciative. "The whole experience was great. Had called another company first and they wanted twice as much-also highly rated on Angie's list. They wanted to charge me based on the size of the house when the mice were only in the basement, Northeast used traps that were already in place and did not charge me based on the size of my 4 story house. They came back, checked the traps and rebated those that were empty. Any further service will cost extra but I think we will do it ourselves if we need to."

"I scheduled an appt for regular pest control maintenance as I am currently under a yearlong contract with Knockout. While the tech was spraying the garage, we noticed mud trails and as the tech inspected thoroughly, he showed and explained everything as he worked and found termite activity. Although termite treatment is not part of my contract, he was able to sign me up on the spot and stayed to perform the termite treatment. After the tech left, I realized there was an Angie’s List discount being offered which I wasn’t offered. When I called Knockout the following day and mentioned the deal, I was immediately credited the $300 plus tax difference in price from their rate to the Angie’s List discounted rate. I was very pleased with the work performed on the spot as well as how knockout immediately rectified my payment."
