The success of this project was very much due to Claudio's remodeling expertise, project management skills, attention to detail, and his excellent relationships with his subcontractors and me. As the homeowner I wanted certain features in the project and, inevitably, some of these things changed while the work was ongoing. Claudio is quietly confident that he knows his stuff, and he does. Problems and requests for change or additional work do not bother him. He handles people well and is always cheerful, polite, and full of solutions to get the homeowner what they want. The quality of the work itself was excellent. Claudio and his subs took great pains to ensure that everything was done to my satisfaction. We always knew the time from ordering to delivery for the kitchen cabinets was several months so the project took longer than it would have if the cabinets had been ready earlier. The was clearly out of Claudio's control but the delays were not a surprise to me because I was always informed ahead of delays and/or the impact of changes I wanted. The work was completed within the project budget, allowing for extra costs due to changes I wanted while the work was ongoing. In short, I would certainly hire Claudio again for a big remodeling project. What more can I say?"

"Harrop & Son Remodeling is by far the best construction company I have had the pleasure of hiring. We were hiring for a complete basement remodel and the owner, Tom, called immediately after submitting our inquiry to Home Advisor. Harrop & Son was 1 of 3 companies to give us a quote and they landed well ahead of the competition. Tom was professional, very detailed in his quote, and was extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Honesty was a big reason I hired Harrop & Son. While the competition was ridiculously over pricing the job and looking to take advantage, Tom came in and provided me with an honest quote that was half the price of the competition but afforded double the square footage and a full bathroom, which had been out of the question for the other companies. It was clear that Tom really cared about getting you excellent value for your money. They started right on time and they blew me away with how professional and courteous they were from day 1. They made excellent use of their time and I never saw any of the crew not working. The Foreman, Rick, was excellent and I had complete confidence that when Tom was off site, Rick had everything under control.
