"Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

"Charity Chimney does outstanding work and has great customer relations to compliment that ethic. My husband and I both agree that our experience with Charity Chimney was one that makes for becoming a lifetime customer. That being said, there was one hiccup in the beginning that almost kept us away. It became apparent problems encountered were the fault of a search design. For this reason, when ordering an item from Angie's List, call the company providing services and confirm this purchase. My mistake in not doing so after I purchasing the "Big Deal", is what caused the afore mentioned problem. Sometimes a company isn't aware when a deal or coupon has been bought. This is not the fault of anyone involved. Angie's List wants to be sure items are available in all categories, and at times a spot gets overlooked by an overseer from the company providing service. Angie's list was quite understanding when I got in touch with them complaining about the fact I hadn't been contacted and they refunded my money. I went online and posted a review for Charity Chimney that resulted in an F. I was then contacted by Steve, the owner. He explained what had happened and offered to come to my home and do the work without compensation. I refused his offer because I feel it's unfair to expect people to work without pay. After trying to convince me to change my mind, he came up with another option. He would send a couple of employees over to do the work. Afterward, I would decide how much the job was worth and if it was done correctly. The amount I came up with would be accepted as payment in full. An appointment was made. The men did a wonderful job, and even took a picture of the cover to show me the wear and rust evident. I was quite surprised when told even though it would need replacing within the next year or two, it wasn't currently necessary. Companies I've previously called to the home always find some extra bit of work to be done on an emergency basis. Charity Chimney does outstanding work and has great customer relations to compliment that ethic."

"Great service.  Finished in one day!"

"What an Amazing Company!! I had a Major Plumbing Issue after my son knocked the top off the toilet and busted the pipe that connects the water in to the wall. I got on Angie List and found Free Emergency Plumber.Com and within a half hour they were at my house. Not only did they fix the leak and the pipe for FREE, but the technician was also able to assist me in getting my house dried out (slightly flooded three or four rooms)! The guys at Free Emergency Plumber.Com even helped when dealing with my insurance company. Start to finish they handled just about everything for me, all I had to do was sit back and let them work. Amazing company, Amazing people, I highly recommend Free Emergency Plumber.Com."
