"My water softener (which I inherited from my grandmother) was stuck in an endless purge cycle, so I called the man who installed it, but he was no longer in business. I looked on Angie's list for another merchant. I found AOK and the reviews looked good, I liked that it was a family-owned company, and the prices that people paid were in my feasible range. I made the appointment to have my softener looked at, and Kevin showed up a few minutes early. We reviewed my options, and we determined that my system, which was not new when I inherited it a few years ago, was too old to fix for a price that made sense. Replacing the entire system cost only $250 more than repairing, so I went for it. I was at work, but my roommate was home when Kevin returned to make the repair. He said the water would be out for a couple of hours, but it was less time than that. The water has been even softer than it was before ever since. Very happy with my purchase! The grade of B for price merely means that I had not intended to pay that much; it is not meant as a criticism of AOK's prices. The grade of B for Quality reflects minor complaints, like leaving the soil turned over and piled up around the softener, leaving an empty sports drink bottle, leaving the cord from the old system balled up on the ground, etc. They were really minor annoyances; I would use AOK again in a heartbeat."

He walked us through everything that needed to be done and the costs. Then he went right to work and got it done expertly and efficiently. "Our water was turning everything yellow and had a smell with a lot of dirt in it. Steve the salesman came out and tested our water. He didn't try to pressure us he was very friendly. He offered us the all in one system and a deal they were running at the time for money off to haul our old system away. They offer a financing option with no money down. We decided to go with them vs the other companies because of the warranty on equipment. Others were cheaper but they offered the best warranty and financing which others did not. Another gentleman named Steve installed the equipment but he didn't arrive to our house until 7 at night when we were trying to get the kids in bed which was two hours past the later time we were told(3-5). But he installed everything in the dark and was nice. We still had dirt in our water and they said they would not bill until 100% completely satisfied. So they flushed out our pipes since the dirt was not coming from the system it was leftover. This worked great, but again the same guy Steve was two hours late and it was done a 8PM so we had to sleep with the whole house smelling like bleach. I think this type of work should be done first thing in the mornings so the house can air out. We are happy with our system everything works great. They service it every other month. No more yellow so no more cleaning constantly. No more orange hair and we can have white clothes. And no more smell!!!!"

"They were on time and the service was good. I have been using them for about 3-4 years. They installed my water softener system and my reverse osmosis system. I am on a plan to replenish the salt in my water softener and they do a good job. If I had any problem with plumbing, they are responsive I would recommend them to anybody."

"Love the Puronics system. We’ve been a loyal customer since July 2015. Never had a issue at all and have recommended to everyone that’s ever asked HOWEVER my only disappointment is we were told that they would remove and instal one time for free if we moved. We are getting ready to have our floor coated and although we aren’t moving we called to ask if they could unhook it for a week and hook it back up. (Same as a move in my opinion) and they said, if it’s not in your contract then it’s $500+ to do it. What a bummer!! So no matter what the sales person tells you, MAKE SURE ITS IN THE CONTRACT because verbal agreements don’t get honored."

"The technician came on time and, although it took him longer than expected to install the system, he installed it and demonstrated the system for me. The next day, I noticed there was still water on the concrete close to the system but, I figured it was residual water. Apparently the system was leaking. Two days after install I contacted Leaf and advised them that the system was leaking. Early, the next business day, they arrived and repaired the leak and made sure I was happy. My system seems to be working well and I am satisfied."
