I told him what happened and he advised that he would contact a leak detection company ASAP and let me know when they would arrive. He did as promised and we had that company at our house within the hour (on a Saturday, no less). We spoke to that person for a good while about the different steps we could take and decided what was right for us. During this time, Leo texted to check on us and the outcome. I sent him the pictures of the issue and he gave me a reasonable price for the fix. He immediately came over to get our leak fixed so that we would not be without water over the weekend. "Billy arrived at the scheduled time to discuss the details of my plumbing retrofit and provide an estimate. The work involved removing the existing outdoor hose faucet and replacing it with a more modern Aquor no freeze hydrant. Additional plumbing inside the garage wall was necessary to accomodate the new hydrant . I obtained three estimates for the project prior to making my final decision. I selected Lu Lu's Plumbing because Billy provided a better explaination of the necessary work and the additional equipment to support the hydrant in the event future service was needed. Billy, also planned the work such that water to the house would only be shut off a minimum of time. This was not a common install for our temperate climate but I wanted the look and function of being able to do any repairs in the future without shutting off water to the house. Thanks Billy!"
