On Site came very quickly to assess damages, fire happened on a Friday night and they were at my house Saturday morning! The on Site team did a fantastic job! Everyone was so nice and I felt that they genuinely cared about my family and I, and what had happened. They were respectful of all our belongings, and took great care in cleaning everything. "Midpoint immediately identified all damage that had been missed by the initial contracting company and fixed those areas, boarding up windows, tarping, and vacuuming glass and picking up debris inside and outside. Their contractors removed clothes and drapery for cleaning, measured for windows and doors, and checked the structural integrity of the house and all its systems. There was an initial communication problem, but after we asked for a scope and schedule for the job, the three owners of the company and the project manager came to our house for a final evaluation and these were provided. We told them we were willing to wait for the work to be done without interruption. The windows took a bit longer than expected, but once they were ready, we had workers at our house every day until the project was completed. The packers were careful with our items and marked the contents of each box, which were stored in our basement. The movers took great care with our furniture; nothing was damaged. Roofers, siders and carpenters worked minimum ten-hour days, sometimes on Saturdays and holidays. Our project manager stopped in almost every day to check on progress and quality of the work, which was excellent. He was always available by phone or email. We were very happy with the quality of the materials (windows, garage door, carpeting, shingles, siding), which were all better than what we had before. As a bonus, nothing was made in China, most materials were made in Michigan (Canadian windows). Because everyone else in the neighborhood was having the same work done, we had a chance to compare Midpoint with other contractors. Midpoint and a few small, local builders did the best work by far, and much more quickly than the major disaster specialists who hopped from house to house. Sometimes no one would show up at their properties for days or weeks. Unlike the smaller builders, Midpoint is a full service restoration company with established relationships with the few subcontractors they used. Everyone associated with Midpoint was a pleasure to deal with; the Midpoint family became our family for six weeks. Midpoint is a preferred contractor for our insurance company, so the financial part was completely off our shoulders. Our adjuster trusted Midpoint enough to approve all work and charges, making things very easy for us. Midpoint's owner promised that we would come out of this with a better house than before the tornado, and that is exactly what we got. The process and result were better than we hoped for. Highly recommended."

"I was amazed Bowdecon was willing to travel several hours for an estimate, not alone to pick us up as a client. Mr. Bowden arrived to do the estimate during the time he promised. He made us aware that he is called to emergency jobs, which are crime scenes, which can sometime effect his schedule.  It was courteous of him to let us know this in advance. <br> <br>After we gave him a tour of what needed his attention, he e-mailed a prompted and detailed bid/contract. He did not overlook any detail, which made me feel that he was detailed oriented with his physical work as well. <br> <br>We were not disappointed. He accomplished the work with the number of man hours he had anticipated. The hours were spread over two days instead of one because of another job that came up simultaneously with our.
