After getting numerous estimates, I moved ahead with the work with All-Star Basements. Not only did they give me a great price, but they did not try to sell me many extra things I did not need. They put a waterproofing system in 3/4 of my basement and a sealed sump system that is quiet and working great! I have not had any water all summer and am very happy! Although the job itself was somewhat messy, they cleaned up very well and made sure I was happy and satisfied before they left. The basement now has potential to be nice area of use and living for years ahead. The service is a expensive purchase for homeowner but it is a needed purchase for my home. The finishing job leaves the need with more work if your basement floor was rough from the years of water damage. They did stop any future water damage for my home and it is safe to spend more for more fine finishing. They completed what was contracted."

"Our well pump blew the circuit breaker just after Christmas and Sampson Brothers came out for an emergency call the next day. Because of its location they had to pull the pump up by hand to repair the shorted wire. When they determined that the well flow was reduced because of debris, they made a second trip back just after New Years Day to blow the pump clear. Again having to raise it by hand. The owner and workers were on time, informative and polite. When we went out to observe, they willingly explained what was being done. I would definitely recommend them for any work on wells."

"After returning from a long weekend away on Sunday, two hours later we had no water.   Monday morning I called and they said they would come out and take a look and would not charge me for a service call.  Turns out our well pump was no longer working.  We decided to go forward with the inevitable which required hooking-up to city water.  We/they were able to pull the permit and obtain and install the water meter by that afternoon just in time for the city to turn on the water before the City Inspector left for the day.  The following morning they needed to return to install the remote reader for the water meter and which time we asked them to look at our old laundry tub that would not drain.  They gave us a quote and returned later that day to complete the work on the laundry tub.  So happy that laundry tub is finally resolved as well.  "

"I have used Roger Vadnais plumbing ever since the year 2000 when we got “this old 1950’s house” in Shoreview. I was always impressed, usually saw Gordy, sometimes Paul, or others, for various installations and repairs. They really saved me this one late Sunday night in 2011 when suddenly our toilets stopped working. I told the phone scheduler how the next morning my son, who was visiting, had to fly out east for his first deployment to Afghanistan. What a relief it was when Roger himself took off on that Sunday night and came over to our house and fixed the plumbing. Obviously, that earned my undying gratitude. "We received a recommendation from a friend that Jack at All Star Plumbing was great to work with. On a Sunday morning we had a sump pump and a backup sump pump break down. They were working well enough to not overflow but very much on their last legs. That same day (a Sunday) we called Jack and he came out within 2 hours and identified that both pumps were not operational and the backup battery was needing replacement. He replaced both pumps and the backup battery within a few hours. He also educated and provided tips to us on a few different items since this was our first home. Jack and his apprentice were great to work with, very clean, and did as much contactless work as possible in the midst of a pandemic! I highly recommend working with them!"

"Norblom Plumbing was an outstanding company to work with. They were able to schedule a visit within 1 or 2 days. My husband talked with the plumber so I'm afraid I don't know what his name was. But he arrived on time, he listened to what was needed, tightened the front faucet which didn't need replacing after all, and replaced the back faucet. He was efficient and everything has been working perfectly since he was here! I also thought the price charged was very fair."
