"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Overall, he was knowledgeable, professional, and did great work and customer service!! I called Anthony and right away I could tell he was more of a phone/Ethernet wiring expert than the others I had spoken with (since I had been searching around). He was more than willing to answer any questions I had over the phone. We set up a Saturday appointment, which was a big plus not to have to cram it in during the week. Anthony was running about 90 minutes behind on the day of our appointment, but if you have ever had any repairs done that is normal. After seeing what we wanted to do, he talked through all our options and provided a great quote. It was a no brainier! Part of the wiring for the TV had to be routed down an exterior wall due to our roof line, but Anthony covered it with a nice molding that he made a special trip for. Anthony did a great job and we couldn't be happier! It is so nice to have the computer in a separate office, and a hardwired TV (so long wifi buffering). Anthony also went the extra mile by returning later to provide an extra Ethernet cable."

"My husband & I own a small business and I needed help with something on my lap top which I use for all our work. I didn't have a virus but needed what I guess would be a repair. I called and spoke with Bob who suggested I make an appointment as my issue could take some time. I called back a few days later & made the appointment. He called at exactly the agreed time. I'm familiar with having a company/person take over my computer which he did and then I went back to work while he did his work. He did need to call me several times about certain things but I basically did my work--but I admit I also watched at different times as he worked. It turned out what I needed took much longer than what he thought - he also told me that my old (about 10 years) lap top would be like it was when it was brand new! Not only was that accomplished he went way beyond fixing the original issue which was hard drive space (or lack of). He was very helpful with any questions and explained things in a way I could understand! Because it took so much longer I offered to pay more money but he would not accept any additional payment. I will be getting a new PC in a few months and I will definitely be contacting him to set some things up, walk me through some other things & handle some installations. It's SO nice to have someone trustworthy because let's face they can have access to everything on your computer. Don't hesitate to contact this company - my only few pieces of advise - have all the information you can gather about your PC/laptop - age - kind etc, a clear or as best as possible description of your issue, schedule extra time as it can take longer & if you 'watch" and see things you don't understand - don't panic - they will get things done as promised & most likely better!"

"Tune-up moderately increased speed of computer.  After a week or two it seemed to get a lot slower.  I realized the package I paid for was for a relatively short time period of services, but it would have been nice for the technician to let me know what they weren't able to do and give a recommendation on additional services.  Or at least warn me that I'd continue to experience some slowness.  I eventually used another vendor (for whom I wrote a good review).  They were much, much better and greatly improved the performance of my laptop."

"Jason called me back the same afternoon I purchased the package, and sent an email to confirm the day and time he would call. Jason called on time, and spent almost 3 hours clearing the computer of viruses that was causing continuous pop-ups. He was most friendly, and did a terrific job! "My second appointment with Geek Choice in March went well. The phone call from the office to determine what I wanted to accomplish at the visit is a great idea. I would say that here is where Geek Choice can look for complications. For example, someone who's used a computer at work and at home may still be unaware of some basic ideas. For example, if a device is to be added, does it need to be charged, does the person have the correct cable or battery, etc. Young people know this; older people do not necessarily.
The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and offered additional tips. He arrived within the time frame specified.

"Chip was on time for my appointment and he was very professional.  He explained things very well and each problem or concern that I had he addressed.  At the end of the repair service prior to ending the call, Chip went back over my list of concerns to make sure that each matter was addressed and repaired. The result is that I have a faster running computer and I have updates that are now being properly installed.  I WILL be using this company to work on my other computers!

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."
