"Computer did the "gotta send info to Microsoft" but when tried to reboot it ran through automatic repair without success. I did all the alternative without any success. He came and picked up the hard drive on Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Fortunately he was able to "restore" without any data loss. Very happy with outcome."

"I was told to call All American Solutions. I did and was connected Mr. Bob Feltman. He is a wonderful, brilliant, and smart man. He was patient with me as he walked me through the steps I needed to do. Because of surgery I just had my mouth area was numb and swollen making it hard for me to speak correctly. Bob was such a love. For 2 1/2 days he diligently worked cleaning up, removing all of the ware's, and trash out of my computer. Then everything had to be reinstalled. I was extremely pleased with his work and knowledge. I would totally recommend All American Solutions to anyone that has a computer problem big or small. "I purchased the service and was contacted by Jason very quickly and we scheduled a time for him to take over my computer. I had a few questions before hand and Jason responded to those quickly as well. He sent me a couple of text messages before our scheduled time and emailed me the instructions on how to let him take over. I was able to watch him manipulate my computer the whole time. He spent about 2 hours cleaning up extra "junk" that was on my computer, eliminating numerous viruses my computer had contracted and he installed free anti-virus programs for me. When he was finished, he asked that I take some time browsing the web while he watched to be sure that I was not experiencing any of the same problems. After that he called and went over everything he did, gave me some great suggestions and showed me the details of the anti-virus programs he installed. I found him to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I'd definitely use his services again, but hope I don't have to!"

"My second appointment with Geek Choice in March went well. The phone call from the office to determine what I wanted to accomplish at the visit is a great idea. I would say that here is where Geek Choice can look for complications. For example, someone who's used a computer at work and at home may still be unaware of some basic ideas. For example, if a device is to be added, does it need to be charged, does the person have the correct cable or battery, etc. Young people know this; older people do not necessarily.
The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and offered additional tips. He arrived within the time frame specified.

"Fantastic - work was done remotely in about an hour, and my computer is better than new!"

"I have a Dell all-in-one desktop computer, an older model (2007-8).  It was freezing, very slow, random popups.  
I found this company via Angie's List.  Their hours include Saturday which is very convenient.
I dropped off the computer on a Monday with a young man who appeared appropriately "techie". He took down my list of concerns and assured me that it was worth it to fix the computer instead of purchasing a new one.  I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars repairing an older computer, when newer ones are only a bit more expensive.   Jacob was very helpful in assessing my level of use, approximate cost, and likelihood that I'd get a couple more years out of the current computer.  He promised that I'd have my computer home in a week, as I'd requested.
The following few days I was in contact with a different fellow, Robert, who apparently did most of the work.  Robert called daily to give me an update on what he'd found in my computer.  There were a few missed communications in terms of what was going to be done, and by when it would be done, but ultimately all the work was done and computer back at home one week later. 
Computer is working GREAT. The estimate was right on point. The computer even came home shiny and dust-free, much cleaner than when I dropped it off :)

"The deal on Angie's list stated that wires would be "dressed." To me this means that the wires would be covered. There were wires sticking out all over and was extremely unsightly. I had to pay an additional fee to "dress the wires." When that was completed, it looked much much better. Unfortunately, the pictures below show how it looks now. Some wires are still exposed and the paint was chipped."

"I called Luther on Friday morning while I was at work and set up an appt. for the same day. He came to my place exactly on time. Very punctual. He's also very neat and clean in his appearance and work habits. After signing an agreement on price so everything was clear and showing him my list of problems, he got right to work. Luther checked everything for viruses and then got rid of a lot of things that were making my computer run super slow. Then, after discussion, he uninstalled my antivirus program and installed his preferred program, which was very streamlined and easy to use. I just sits, running, in the background and doesn't interfere with my browsing experience. Luther also, by chance, had some "used" memory that worked with my pc. So he took my (very dusty and dog hairy) unit outside, gave it a good blowout and installed the memory for a very reasonable price. Luther told me my computer still has room for improvement (room available for more memory) but that this should improve things. It did....immensely.  Luther more than gave me my money's worth, I have to say and my computer is running like it should. I try to do a lot of my own troubleshooting on my computer, but after this experience I know I'm a rank amateur.  I'm really happy with my computer for now and I'll definitely be giving him a call in the future when I'm looking for a computer tech. I'd recommend  Firefly Solutions to anyone."
