"I called to schedule a 1-hour in-home computer tune-up.  The person I spoke with seemed very professional and we made an appointment for 3:30 pm the next Friday.  ON the day of the appointment, my husband got a call at 9 am from someone who said he was coming to our house and was going to late.  The guy calling had trouble explaining who he was, but my husband figured out eventually that he was coming from Geek Choice and that he thought the appointment was at 9 am.  My husband explained that I wasn't home and that the appointment was actually scheduled for 3:30 pm.  The technician was pretty upset - despite the fact that he was half an hour away from our house at that time.  But he did agree to come at 3:30 pm.
At 3:50 pm, no sign of him.  I called to see what was going on.  He didn't apologize, just said he was caught in traffic -- that Friday afternoons are a bad time to be on the highway.  At the time, he was so far away that even without  traffic it would have taken him 30 minutes to get to our house.  I said we would need to reschedule and he seemed shocked.  I decided that with that level of customer service, I would just find someone else.

"Jose kept saying that this job was not a $ 300.- job it was a $ 900.- job. He was here for 2 hrs. and 15 minutes.
The deal was $ 99 for $ 300 worth of electrical services. I had already paid the $ 99 to Angie.
When he was finished, he insisted that I owe him more money, because he charges normally $ 150 per hour. He was here 2 hrs. and 15 min. He started yelling and became aggressive in his behavior. In order to get rid of him I paid him for his time of 2 hours and 15 min. $ 300 + $ 50(rounded off) + $ 50 for the wire he used = $ 400.- The next day he brought a new dimmer $ 40.- and installed it.
I paid him total $ 440.- when I subtracted the coupon worth of $ 300 = $ 140.- I asked for this amount as reimbursement.
He said and wrote on the bill, that he would reimburse me for $ 100.-
I never heard from him. I called him several times. No answer.
PLEASE HELP !
This serviceman did not honor the deal. He totally ignored the coupon and I had to pay much more money..This was NOT a special. deal.
