"It was an excellent experience! My old Kenmore fridge (probably from the 90s) quit cooling/defrosting. After looking to replace it and finding thanks to the pandemic refrigerators are on backorder for months, I called 3 appliance repair companies who didn't call me back. I found Neli and was able to set up an appointment at a time I picked.. An incredibly patient tech (Chris C.) came chat on at the appointed time. I waited about 5 mins as he was wrapping up another call. I walked me through the diagnosis using a virtual support app on my phone. He was able to help me with taking things apart, helped me use our multimeter, and diagnosed the problem. I can do this repair myself. He gave me the exact part numbers and told me what I need to do. All for $35 for an hour on a Sunday. I can't believe how great this was. I thought I had to replace my refrigerator, but for $35 + $111 in parts (I could have gone cheaper but chose OEM) my refrigerator will return to health. Their website lists the tools you will need for a diagnosis/repair, make sure you have them ready. For refrigerators, you need a screwdriver (flat & phillips), a socket set, a multimeter, and theoretically a pair of pliers but I didn't use them. Also make sure your phone is charged (lesson learned)."

"I discovered on Sunday that my top load washing machine was leaking, called Service Master and Manni picked up right away, even though it was close to 9pm. He was able to schedule a technician to come see me Tuesday noon-2pm, and the tech, Lucky, arrived promptly at noon on that day. He diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered a replacement part, and came back the following day to install it, right on time. The total cost of service was $135 for the visit/labor (including both trips) and $90 for the part. I was happy to pay it for how quickly and easily this repair was. (And no, I could not have done it myself, it involved lifting up the whole thing and ordering specific parts I wouldn't have had the time or interest in trying to find on my own). I will definitely use them again."

"Murphy Family Electric is an awesome company with very competent technicians and reasonable rates. They make the whole process pretty straightforward. I had used them to get my Tesla charger in 2018 (Cost: $799 including material). I was so impressed with their work that when I had a complex electrical job - installing a new 120v outlet requiring a new wire from the circuit breaker - I did not get any quotes but just booked them. That job was done very professionally as well (Cost: $949). Fast forward to Mar 2025, my tesla charger had problems with over heating and intermittent power loss. I called Murphy Family Electric and they sent a technician the same day who came and adjusted/cleaned the connections and spent 30 mins fixing the problem. And to my surprise the company did not even charge me anything for this. So on top of everything else you can add absolutely fantastic customer service to their list of attributes."

"Very please with Hamed's service. Came out the same day I called. The dishwasher needed a replacement pump that would take 2 to 3 days to come in. The pump cam in the next day and Hamed came back out that same day and fixed the dishwasher. GREAT SERVICE!!!"

"The technician called before his arrival and arrived on time.  The inspection and repair work took approximately three hours to complete.  During the process of testing/inspecting the three appliances, the technician explained what he was doing and looking for.  Once completed, he tested both the oven and washing machine to make sure that the new parts were working properly. I was very satisfied with the work and the technician was very helpful with answering questions. He moved both the oven and washing machine back in place and cleaned up after himself before leaving.  If I needed an appliance repaired in the future, I would use them again.  I used an AL coupon for this repair.

He offered preventive information to unsure the problem wouldn't happen again. He e-mailed the inspection report to us that afternoon and the lab report a week later. Walt than called us to see if we had any questions about the reports. Sarah, who worked in the office, set up all the appointments and answered all of our questions. This company is very easy to work with and we recommend them."
