They are also supposed to give you a heads up call when they are on the way Which the technician did not do..and then he looked at me crazy when I asked him why not. The vans they drive, look pretty fancy with the payint And artwork, so that's probably why they have to charge So much."

"Work was done on 02/10/2020. Called Samuel, he was able work me in that same afternoon.. Replaced my old Sears ~2000 era 1/2 HP system with a Chamberlain wifi, very quiet belt drive, battery backed up, max, 1 1/4 equivalent DC motor with great features that I'm still enjoying. Samuel was finished within a couple of hours including adjusting the torsion spring. I don't suggest just anyone messing with those torsion springs. Samuel cleaned up everything when he was done."

"?? 1 Star ? Poor Service & Unresolved Repairs I have dealt with the same garage door issue for over three years after using First Call Garage Doors. The owner diagnosed the problem as a bad spring bar and charged $450 for a ?heavy-duty? replacement and new rollers. The issue was never fixed. The door would stop short of closing and reverse. Months later, he claimed my foundation had shifted and added shims, then contradicted himself by saying the spring bar he installed was bad. Despite spending over $1,000 on repeat visits, the problem still exists in 2026. When I contacted him again, he was rude, dismissive, and tried to avoid responsibility by saying the work was done years ago, even though the issue has been ongoing since the initial repair. He did not remember his own diagnosis or keep proper records. Overpriced, ineffective repairs and terrible customer service. I would not recommend this company."

After I placed the order we got a phone call the day before confining the appointment (10-12) and Nelson - the installer - showed up in the agreed timeline. He completed the installation AND set up a couple of additional remote controls (he even helped set up my car "remote control").
