"Outstanding!  Robert showed up on time (I received a 1/2-hour window of between 8:00 and 8:30am and he was right there at 8:15).  Nice to have such a narrow window and not have to wait all day or even a half a day.  Second, he was extremely professional and courteous.  We had cleared our coutertops so he could perform the work and the work was completed in less than an hour.  The countertops were ready to go and only indicated we would want to make sure we soak up any water spillage within a 24 hour period in order to allow the sealer to do its job.
Countertops looked fantastic upon finishing and this is something we will most certainly do on an annual basis if not bi-annual basis, depending on conditions.
Strongly recommend these folks!

"They are over the top and wonderful! I have 4 gardeners in six years and apparently I'm pretty picky. So now the key is to work with his wife they are wonderful. I highly recommend them! The customer won't be disappointed with them, very knowledgeable . He came out and fix everything and give open ideas. He came and sprayed my rose and now they're good. My grass was brown and he told that it will be green in three weeks and it did! That was a big deal."

"I wish I had read yelp reviews before I signed up with company.  This being my first time in dealing with contractor, I should have let a person who understand contracts read mine before I signed it.  Things I thought I was purchasing turned out to not be a part of contract.  Example, I wanted pocket doors for bathroom. Contract stated " stall pocket doors".  I thought that meant  purchasing and installing doors were part of contract.  That was not the case.  It meant in addition to what I paid for I  now had to purchase pocket door and frame.  I thought shower fixtures were part of remodel, not in contract so those were items I had to purchase.
New sink and medicine cabinet installed by contractor were new but cheap.  My old sink and cabinet cost more than what was installed.  Sometimes I had to go to home depot with workers to pick up parts for them to do their job.  It took several inspections (2 or 3) for the electrical to pass inspection in the bathroom.  The finished product  was fine but getting there was too much of a problem and to much out of pocket spending.  Trash and debris were hauled away in timely manner.  Workers (C & S) were courteous and professional.  This experience has taught me to let a knowledgable person read contract before I sign one in the future.
I wrote a progress review in September that stated everything was coming along fine.  Soon after that things did not remain fine.
AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE CONTRACT STATES AND IT IS WHAT YOU EXPECT.

"I
Beyond excellent. Best experience I've ever had with any contractor. Project competed within the estimated days agreed to. Contract was straight forward and easy to understand. There were no hidden or unexpected costs during or at the completion of the project. Bob is definitely a man of his word. He said even after I made the final payment that he would return to touch up the turf, I wasn't sure that would happen any time soon. Sure enough a few days later he was back and did the touch up. Bob was extremly patient with me during the planning process. This was because I was very unsure as to what I wanted done or how much I wanted to spend. Planning was done during a more than 2 month period. There was never any pressure to start before I had decided what I wanted done. His estimate was right in the middle of other estimates I had gotten. His work crew was very friendly and professional. If I or anyone else I know needs this kind of work, I would certainly check and see if he was available.

"Real Construction did an amazing job on my kitchen, closets, bathrooms and pavers. I worked with ASI for the design portion and Sion as my contractor. They were incredibly helpful and always responded to my questions. RC handled everything from start to finish, so I never had to worry about anything. I gave Sion a budget and a general idea of what I wanted, and he helped me design a kitchen that exceeded my expectations. My backyard is amazing with new pavers and gazebo. RC upgraded our pool and installed lights. Sion stayed within my budget and timeline. Every aspect of this renovation was handled with the highest level of care, responsibility and professionalism. We are very happy with Real Construction and we're highly recommending them to all my family and friends."

FAQs for gravel or loose fill paving install, spread or scrape projects in Anza, CA

To calculate how much pea gravel you need for your project, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area you want to cover to find the volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert it to cubic yards to determine the amount of pea gravel you need.

A yard of pea gravel weighs about 1.3 tons or 2,600 pounds. Keep in mind that wet gravel weighs more than dry, and different types of gravel can vary in weight. For example, due to its density, river rock weighs significantly more than crushed stone and pea gravel.

The ideal depth for pea gravel depends on the type and size of your project. You'll need at least two to three inches for walkways and patios and a minimum of six inches for driveways to support heavy vehicles and prevent shifting over time. Aim for a depth of three to four inches in decorative garden beds or drainage areas.

Pea gravel is attractive, versatile, and low-maintenance. It provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for pathways, driveways, and garden beds. On the downside, its sharp texture isn't ideal for bare feet, and it can be challenging to weed or remove once installed. It can also shift underfoot without proper edging, creating an uneven surface.

Alternative landscaping materials you can use instead of pea gravel include wood chips, decomposed granite, crushed stone, pebbles, quartz, mulch, sand, and river rock. These materials offer different aesthetics, performance, and costs, so it’s important to do your research to determine which one best fits your landscape design and budget.

Many homeowners choose pea gravel because it requires minimal upkeep compared to other landscaping materials. You'll need to rake it occasionally to redistribute the stones and maintain an even surface. Pros also recommend installing weed barrier fabric beneath the gravel to prevent unwanted growth, although some weeds may still appear over time.
