"Carpathian Woodworks is Paul McDonald's business and he runs it in a very professional manner. I requested a quote and within an hour he responded by asking me for photographs and a description of the work. Paul gave me a preliminary quote on the phone and set up an on site appointment. Paul arrived on time and he, my interior decorator and I discussed what I wanted. He has a great design instinct and suggested several enhancements that really improved on our initial vision. Paul gave me a quote before leaving, and then suggested adding laser cut doors for the cabinets used to hold the receiver, DVD player and other equipment. How much, I asked and Paul said no additional cost. He just thought the doors would really upscale the design (he was right). I accepted the quote and Paul gave me an install date. Paul called me before the install date to confirm he would arrive at 8:00. He arrived at 7:45 on the date and the installation was completed on the same day. This is amazing given the cabinets take up almost two full walls and a corner entertainment center! The work was perfect, the job site was spotless and the cost came on on target. Recently I was discussing this with a friend. We agreed that a dream contractor is one arrives on time for appointments, gives an accurate scope and estimate of the work, delivers on time, and keeps within the budget. Paul McDonald / Carpathian Woodworks is that dream contractor. I give him my highest recommendation."

He is an artist. He not only does cabinet's he can do drywall and electrical to compliment or accent his cabintry work. Ed was just a laid back and cool guy to work with. He did a bunch of cornices for us but it was a different price. His prices were just about right. He gets the job done well. He took his time and did a good job. We’re happy with the price. We would use him again if we decide to do more trim work and he would be on the list. He gives us ideas on built in bookcases, trim work, custom window trimming, custom stairs and all that kind of stuff. I’ve recommended him before to do custom furniture. He does custom cabinetry and woodwork."
