"I hired D Design Woodworking to build a floor mirror utilizing an antique mirror from an English armoire. We discussed the design, the type of wood (maple) to be used and the stain color. I received the mirror yesterday and I couldnâ t be happier. The mirror looks great in the frame and Iâ m extremely impressed with the workmanship. The mirror is very substantial and the stain matches our new bedroom furniture perfectly. I cannot recommend D Design more highly."

"Jimmy came to the house at the appointment time and observed each space and took detailed measurements.  He then asked exactly what it was I wanted to accomplish in each room, other than just new cabinets.  After a lengthy discussion with many good suggestions on his part, we came up with a design.  I also explained I was on a short time fuse and need it done within about 5 or 6 weeks for reasons out of my control.  In spite of his already busy work load he said he would do his best and in fact completed all of the work except for the mirrors in the allotted time.  The mirrors were completed about a week later. <br /> <br /> All of the carpentry and paint work is about as perfect as humanly possible.  He was very meticulous with the installation.  Every drawer, shelf, and door is in perfect alignment with each other and work smoothly.  The back, sides, and bottom of each cabinet were shimmed or scribed as needed for a perfect fit against the wall and floor.  When I say perfect, I mean perfect.  Very little caulk was needed to hide seams or gaps. <br /> <br /> I had seen Jimmy's work in several high end new construction homes.  Not many of these homes are being built now.  So he has time to work with renovations in lower valued homes like mine.  He has not sacrificed quality for faster lower cost cabinets.  High end cabinets and lower valued homes do not go together, so he builds cabinets that fits the home value.  However, he does not sacrifice quality.  These cabinets are built with the same attention to detail as he uses for high end homes.  So that makes them a little pricey but still reasonable considering the quality of the work."

"The guys on the job were wonderful, respectful, clean and trustworthy.  I'm a stay-at-home mom and I wasn't worried at all having them in my house when my children and I were home - or when we weren't.  Any issue that cropped up - they came up with solutions - several for me to choose from.  They have great design sense and I swear they can build and/or fix anything!  It's a family owned business so their reputation in the community is everything to them.  They just couldn't have been nicer or more professional - or done a better job.  They were always on time, always completed milestone projects on time and there was never an issue of an overage on the budget.  Our new kitchen, powder room, laundry room and family room (almost the entire first floor) are BEAUTIFUL.  So proud that this is my home - and so eager and proud to recommend this company. <br />"
