"We were very impressed with the quality of work we recieved from Kingrey Landscaping. Very professional company an always on time. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work that was done. John Kingrey went above and beyond for us answered all of our concerns and followed up with us. Excellent work ethic & integrity. "We were in a pickle because another company wasnt able to take care of this job as promised. Keen Decorative Concrete came in and cleaned up the mess left behind from the first contractor and then turned around and did an AWESOME job on our outdoor kitchen countertops and bar!!! We were in a time crunch to get finished, and they came in on a Friday and worked through the weekend and got it finished! These guys are not only extremely knowledgable, but also extremely nice, courteous, and professional!"

"The original terrazzo floors (1954) all needed cleaning, and covered the entryway, hallways, and kitchen. I wasn't sure what was involved in the process and was worried special equipment would be needed. They were so scummy. I called Melvin and we set up a time to meet at my house for an assessment and quote. He showed up on time, was thorough in checking all the tile, and took time to explain the process of stripping and sealing my floors. No special equipment needed, thank goodness! He gave a fair quote and we set a time for him to return with his associate and start stripping. Melvin and his female business partner showed up bright and early everyday, on time and worked fast and diligently. No messing about (or taking long ridiculous lunches like the last tile guys who never came back). I tried to move my furniture out of the way, but they took time to move the rest on the first day, and helped move it all back when the floors were finished and dry. Melvin even took time after the job was finished to give me pointers on how to keep my floors polished and shiny. Without a doubt, they are the cleanest, nicest, and most professional team I have ever worked with. If I finally decide to redo the tile in my bathroom I am calling Melvin for sure!"

"I had him demo 3/4 of the house.

Removal of existing tile and carpet replaced with Wood Plank Tile.

All appliances removed and replaced with new stainless steel appliances.

Linoleum Countertops replaced with Granite and undermount sink. Bathroom countertops and sinks replaced too, with granite.

New Bathtub installed.

Tile Backsplash in Bathroom and in Kitchen.

New light fixtures replaced throughout, new ceiling fans replaced.

New exhaust fans, cabinet hardware and faucets replaced in entire home.

Drywall removed and replaced and interior and exterior painting of entire house.

Blinds Measured and Installed

All of this work was done on time, and within my budget. Matt always answered his phone and when he did not he was usually quick to follow up. After Matt finished the job, we were able to get a contract on the home within 30 days. This would not have been possible had I not hired him to help me. I will definitely use him again in the future."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Aransas Pass, TX

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
