"This was the second time I used them and was very satisfied with the work and the cost. The skylight has some paint residue on the window which I was not too pleased with. He promptly returned phone call, came out and discussed work, took measurements, and talked to me at length about what I wanted.  NOT how he thought it should be, or what he wanted to do (C'mon, you know you've dealt with THOSE contractors!), but what I wanted!  He looked at all the pictures I'd pulled and asked questions, offered suggestions when I wasn't sure.  Quote was offered via email, date set for install soon after.  Bookshelves were mostly built in his own workshop, then brought to my home for install. They completed installation in a day and a half.  Finished product is SPECTACULAR!  Even better than I imagined.

"We replaced wood windows with an almond color vinyl window and I cannot believe how much the windows improved the appearance of our home. The house looks newer and brighter. Several windows on our home had broken seals and after getting two estimates for window replacements from other companies, I was very confused and frustrated. Federal Windows was the 3rd company I called for an estimate and Garry was straight forward and honest with me and answered all my questions. The night before work was scheduled to begin, I realized I had not asked what I should do to get ready for the guys to start work the next morning. I e-mailed Garry and he told me not to worry about a thing and that the guys would take care of it. And he was true to his word. They showed up right on time, were very careful to place tarps on the floors. They were courteous, very quiet, and didn't leave a trace of dirt or mess. Other than the beautiful new windows, you would never have known they were here."

Heard from David Mills several times, but he never carried out what he said would be done, which is take care of the small section above the garage door, that it appears the wrong style of caulk was used and wont hold the paint. This results in gray splotches showing on the finish. The original installation went off with absolutely no complaints, but when you need anything followed up on from there, it appears that you will never see David Mills again."
