Boxford Chimney Sweep - to run a new flue liner and install a new stainless steel chimney cap We hired J.Griffin Heating & Plumbing to disconnect an ancient "snowman-style" oil-fueled steam boiler with attached "instant" water heater, and replace it with a gas boiler & free-standing gas water heater. "It has gone well for over fifteen years. I have rarely had to call them. When I have needed to call, they have been responsive. In 2000 I joined the Boston Oil Consumers Alliance (BOCA), (now called Mass Energy) to save money on heating oil. BOCA said the dealer would be Genove. Since then, Genove has consistently filled the oil tank before it ran out, and charged me the price negotiated by Mass Energy. Genove has also done annual service on the oil burner. During a big home renovation, they inspected the oil tank and convinced us that it was in good shape and need not be replaced. When a new porch covered the oil fill point, they installed piping to relocate it."
