The first time the air conditioner wasn’t working they made every effort to assess the problem immediately when I explained the medical condition. At the time they corrected the problem I was advised the system was probably 20 years old and we may have to consider a new system soon. The second time I contacted Comfortable Carla’s was about 4-6 weeks later when the system wasn’t working again. This lead to a system replacement. John gave me several options including repair or replacement and we discussed the plusses and minuses of each option. We agreed replacement of my 20 plus year old AC with a new 16 SEER unit was my best option. My old unit ran non stop from May through September. The new unit cycles on and off, even on the hottest days, as it has no problem keeping up with the cooling load in my house. I'm still waiting to get my first electric bill after the new install, but I'm sure it will be considerably lower.
