"I had written off this carpet as urgently needing replacement, at least if I wasn't moving back into the property myself. It was heavily matted in traffic areas and is at least 11 years old. Nesheim's came in on time (as far as I know), did the work unsupervised, and when I showed up several days later I thought someone had installed a new carpet. Sure, it still has some of the furniture dents and other "character" that carpets pick up over time, but today it looks better than it did when I bought this house over a decade ago. The only reason I give them a B on price is that they're competitive with other estimates I got, if slightly higher, but only after a 20% discount that they've been offering for a few months. Full price would be significantly higher than other competitors, but I have no way of comparing the quality of those competitors' service. As far as I'm concerned Nesheim's are carpet wizards, and $400 to make about 1000 square feet of carpet look nearly new is a pretty good deal. I'm attaching photos of the same carpet from its previous rental listing and from today. No, sorry, the confused looking dog is not included in the cleaning."

"Amazing, amazing, amazing job on upholstering and finishing a chair we bought second hand. I searched Angie's List to find a local upholsterer and saw the favorable reviews for Vitaliy. I placed a call and sent him some pictures on email and he was able to provide a quote over the phone for the job. The quote was very reasonable and he seemed to have a good deal of work on his calendar but we were not in a rush, just wanted a good result. <br /> <br />After speaking on the phone, we agreed on a time to bring the chair to Vitaliy and he took time to show me a lot of options for fabric and wood stain. After choosing the combination I wanted he quoted the job and held to the quote. When we picked up the chair the craftsmanship was outstanding and the cushion looked like it came from the factory. He did a fantastic job refinishing the wood and got the stain just right. Needless to say we were very pleased with the result. <br /> <br />We would definitely call Vitaliy for any upholstery needs in the future. Just a rock-solid person that came though on value and workmanship. <br /> <br />Vitaliy also does carpet cleaning and when I moved out of a condo, the commercial carpet cleaner I booked was a no call / no show. Having to scramble for another option I reached out to Vitaliy and he made room on his schedule to fit me in his schedule in just two days. When he was finished, the carpets and stairs looked like new and our landlord was pleased. Like his upholstery business, he is reasonably priced and takes great pride and care in his work.
